Wow! This Headset is Amazing! Experience Well Worth the Investment!
UPDATE: OK, so I've had this for months now, and I still love it! I use it every day! It's so nice to just escape sometimes; once you put it on, you're no longer in your living room, or your basement... the graphics are that good on some of these apps! My go-to apps are Supernatural: Unreal Fitness (turn the coaches off via the Focus button, as they get annoying after a while), and Beat Saber... I use them every day. Beat Saber has some incredible surrounding graphics and animations, and I love slicing through all the cubes moving toward me to amazing music. Unreal Fitness drops you in really cool places around the world (and some made up, I've noticed), and it doesn't even feel like exercise; it's so satisfying to break 100% of the glass balls! You just don't know until you try it, and it's so believable since the graphics is incredibly crisp and clear! OK... original post below: This is my first experience with VR/AR/MR, as I chose to wait until the graphics were more impressive (actually, I've been waiting quite a long time... since VR conversations became fairly commonplace with the release of the Sega Genesis! Yeah... I'm that old.). I'm so glad I started with this unit (Meta Quest 3) because I was truly blown away right from the start! The setup process was easy enough, though it had its quirks (I used an e-mail setup since I don't use Facebook). In setting up the MQ3 via my phone, I noticed I had to close the app twice to get it to resume where it left off (when you close/reopen, it recognizes you were not done and resumes without issue, so try that if you get stuck). I've only had it for a few days and am blown away by the Batman app (I don't like fighting games, but this is mostly exploring with relatively little fighting), Red Matter (incredible experience; finished it yesterday!), Red Matter 2 (started today and am already hooked!), and I really love the Supernatural: Unreal Fitness program! The first two apps were free (Batman is included in the package I bought here, and Red Matter (the 1st one) came with the free Quest+ trial subscription, and I paid for the latter two. The Unreal Fitness program is $10/month, and totally worth it! You can't know/understand until you try it, and they do give you a free week trial, btw. I am a runner (all my life) and enjoy staying in shape, and this fitness program is amazing, as they drop you in different (beautiful!) places around the world, and the music is great and the movement patterns are really fun (honestly, I didn't think I'd like it at first, as it sounded boring... but I'm so glad I kept an open/curious mind and tried it out!). The graphics on the games is so detailed, right down to chipped paint and curling wallpaper on walls, etc... and I love the intuitive movements... I'm the guy who will squat down in these games to check under chairs and desks for clues, and it's just so amazingly realistic! I did begin to feel somewhat panicked the first time I crawled out of the window in Batman and looked down into the alley from several stories up (and when I entered that huge generator room in Red Matter), but that just added to the experience and believability, so I'm more impressed by it than bothered! In fact, I was so impressed with the overall experience that I bought a set for my wife (she likes it, too) and another for my parents so that they can try it out! Highly recommended! I also bought the Elite Strap Battery for more comfort and to add more play time and I'm glad I did, so consider getting one of those, too (or a similar device). Oh, and you'll need a rubber/silicone cover for the mask part (that touches your face) to protect that cloth from sweat (not sure why they put cloth there... odd). Anyway, enjoy! I certainly am!

A Massive Leap Forward from the Quest 2
As someone who has used the Meta Quest 2 extensively, upgrading to the Meta Quest 3 has been a game-changer in almost every way. While the Quest 2 was a fantastic introduction to VR, the Quest 3 feels like a true next-generation device that improves on its predecessor in nearly every category. What I Love About the Upgrade: Improved Visuals: The jump in resolution is immediately noticeable. The Quest 3’s displays deliver sharper, more vibrant visuals with 2064 x 2208 pixels per eye compared to the Quest 2’s 1920 x 1832. Text is easier to read, environments feel more immersive, and games like Red Matter 2, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners and Batman Arkham Shadow look stunning. It’s like upgrading to a new console generation. Powerful Performance: The Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip in the Quest 3 is twice as powerful as the XR2 Gen 1 in the Quest 2. This means faster load times, smoother gameplay, and better graphical fidelity. Even demanding games run effortlessly, and everything feels more responsive. Mixed Reality (MR): The addition of full-color passthrough cameras is a game-changer for mixed reality experiences. Unlike the Quest 2’s grainy black-and-white passthrough, the Quest 3 lets you see your surroundings clearly in color, blending virtual and real-world elements seamlessly. While MR apps are still limited, what’s available is fun and shows great potential for future experiences. Comfort and Design: The Quest 3 is slimmer and better balanced than the Quest 2, making it more comfortable for extended sessions. The new pancake lenses reduce bulk, and I find myself able to stay in VR longer without discomfort. Upgraded Controllers: The redesigned controllers are sleeker and more ergonomic without the bulky tracking rings of the Quest 2. They feel more precise, and haptic feedback has been improved for a more immersive experience. What Could Be Better: Battery Life: Unfortunately, battery life hasn’t improved much compared to the Quest 2. Both headsets last about 2–3 hours per charge, which is fine for casual sessions but might require frequent recharging during longer playtimes. Mixed Reality Content: While MR capabilities are impressive, there aren’t many apps or games that fully take advantage of it yet. This will likely improve over time as developers create more content tailored to these features.

Hours of fun just make sure you get some rechargeable batteries for the controllers
The Meta Quest 3 is a huge step up from the previous version. The visuals are noticeably sharper, the mixed reality passthrough looks great, and everything feels smoother and faster thanks to the upgraded processor. The setup was quick, the controllers are super responsive, and the comfort level is much better for longer sessions. I use it for both gaming and fitness, and it handles both with no lag. The mixed reality features are a nice touch and make the experience feel more natural. Battery life could be a little longer, but overall, it’s an incredible standalone VR headset that’s absolutely worth it.

Good product
Not much to say on this, the quest worked well straight from the box. Converting from my quest 2 to this was fairly easy and this new batman game has been fun as well. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to start getting into VR.

Meta Quest 3 – Wonderful Upgrade! (4 Stars)
I’m only giving it 4 stars because it doesn’t come with a free game anymore. That’s honestly my only complaint! This headset is wonderful. As soon as I got it, I immediately got rid of my Quest 2. The pancake lenses make a huge difference in peripheral vision — everything looks sharper and the field of view feels noticeably wider and more immersive. The stock head strap isn’t the worst, but I definitely recommend upgrading to a better comfort strap (or the official Elite strap) for longer sessions. The controllers feel fantastic too — they’re smaller, sleeker, and just nicer overall compared to the Quest 2 ones. Overall, it’s a big step up and I’d buy it again without hesitation!

A year and still strong.
So where do I go off the headset, well simply enough it's one of the best media devices if you like big displays but don't have the room for it, or if you want to get your blood pumping in a workout without realizing it. I've had mine for over a year and with heavy use with the BoBo Headstrap it's only just now getting some minor glitches that a quick reboot wipes. But even then I have to be in the headset for the majority of the Day to get it to the point where the display is starting to get a bit glitched... even then, reboot wipes it and makes it good as new... Also small note, don't use cleaner on the lenses just microfiber and if your wondering why it's not shutting down completely, press and hold the power button for a second or two, press power options and shut downs right there.

Don't settle for less storage—the 512GB is a must-have!
Why I chose the 512GB over the 128GB: If you're serious about VR, the extra storage is no longer a "luxury." With games like Asgard’s Wrath 2 and Batman: Arkham Shadow taking up 30GB+ each, you'll fill the base 128GB model in the blink of an eye. I went with the 512GB so I could keep my entire library—including 4K movies and mixed reality apps—installed at once without the "storage tetris" dance. The Visuals (Pancake Lenses are King): Coming from the Quest 2, the "Pancake Lenses" are the biggest upgrade. The "sweet spot" is huge—you don't have to constantly wiggle the headset to get a clear image. Everything from the center to the edges is crisp. If you’re deciding between this and the Quest 3S, get this one just for the lenses; it’s much easier on the eyes for long sessions. Mixed Reality (MR): The full-color passthrough is actually usable. I can read my phone notifications and walk around my house without taking the headset off. Playing games like First Encounters, where aliens "break" through your actual living room walls, is still the coolest thing I’ve shown my friends. Pros: Massive Storage: 512GB is plenty for the next few years of "AAA" VR titles. Incredible Clarity: Pancake lenses eliminate the "god rays" and blurriness of older models. Mixed Reality: The depth sensor makes room mapping automatic and accurate. Comfort: It’s much slimmer than the Quest 2, so it doesn't feel like a brick strapped to your face. Cons: Battery Life: Still only about 2–2.5 hours. If you play a lot, you will need a battery headstrap. Stock Strap: The included cloth strap is "okay," but most people will want to upgrade it for better weight distribution. Final Verdict: The Quest 3 is the gold standard for standalone VR in 2026. If you have the budget, get the 512GB. You’re paying for the convenience of never having to delete a game to make room for a new one, and in the world of VR, that's worth every penny.

Meta Quest 3 Review: Roller Coasters So Real, They’ll Make You Queasy!
Meta Quest 3 Review: A Thrilling VR Ride That Feels Too Real! The Meta Quest 3 is a game-changer in virtual reality, delivering an experience so immersive it’ll leave your head spinning—sometimes literally! This headset builds on its predecessors with sharper visuals, a faster processor, and a sleek design that makes it comfortable for extended play. As someone who dove into the roller coaster experiences, I can confidently say this VR set blurs the line between virtual and reality in ways that are both exhilarating and, at times, stomach-churning. I fired up Epic Roller Coasters, a popular VR title on the Meta Quest platform, and picked the Neon Rider course—a cyberpunk-themed, high-speed thrill ride. The Quest 3’s upgraded 4K+ Infinite Display and 120Hz refresh rate made every twist, turn, and drop feel jaw-droppingly real. The visuals were crisp, with vibrant neon lights and detailed cityscapes whizzing by, while the spatial audio had me hearing the whoosh of the coaster and the clatter of the tracks like I was actually there. The headset’s 6-DoF tracking was spot-on, letting me lean into turns and look around freely, which only amplified the immersion. But here’s where things got too real: the roller coaster was so convincing that I actually got motion sick! My stomach lurched during a particularly intense drop, and I had to pause to catch my breath. I’m no VR newbie, but the Quest 3’s ability to trick my brain into feeling G-forces that weren’t there was wild. A quick tweak to the comfort settings (like adding blinders to reduce peripheral motion) helped, but wow, that’s a testament to how close this headset gets to reality. If you’re prone to motion sickness, start slow with these rides and keep a fan handy! Despite the nausea, I couldn’t stop grinning. The Quest 3 made every moment a blast, whether I was racing through futuristic cities or dodging arrows in the Wyvern Siege track. The variety of modes—classic, shooter, and race—kept things fresh, and the multiplayer option let me share the fun with friends (who also laughed at my queasy reaction). Beyond roller coasters, the Quest 3’s massive game library, including hits like Beat Saber and Asgard’s Wrath 2, ensures there’s always something fun to dive into. The headset itself is a joy to use. It’s lighter than the Quest 2, with a better weight distribution that didn’t leave my forehead aching after an hour. The controllers are intuitive and responsive, and the hand-tracking feature worked surprisingly well for casual games. Battery life clocks in at about 2-3 hours, which was enough for my roller coaster binges, though I recommend grabbing a charging dock for longer sessions. My only gripes? The fresnel lenses can get a bit blurry at the edges, and the lack of precise IPD adjustment might bother some users. Also, add-ons like extra storage or elite straps can add up, but these are minor compared to the sheer fun the Quest 3 delivers. Verdict: The Meta Quest 3 is a must-have for VR fans and newcomers alike. Its roller coaster experiences are so close to reality that they’ll have you screaming with delight—and maybe reaching for a sick bucket. It’s an absolute blast, packed with fun and powered by tech that pushes VR to new heights. Just pace yourself on those coasters!

Minha recomendação de jogos: Resident Evil 4 VR, Pavlov Shack, Phasmophobia VR, Metro Awakening, Into the Radius, SuperHot, Boneworks, The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners, Skyrim VR, Blade and Sorcery e Half Life Alyx (baixe mods quando enjoar, tem muitos bem legais).

Meta Quest 3: Everything You Need To Know!
The Meta Quest 3 (512 GB) is a masterpiece of VR hardware and is a must have for existing VR enthusiasts and newcomers! The Quest 3 has a thin and comfortable design with an improved weight distribution from the last headset from meta (Quest 2). The lighter headset allows you to play longer without pressure on your forehead. Personally, I am coming from the Quest 2 and the difference is surreal. The jump in performance is immediately noticeable. The Quest 3 is powered by the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 which delivers sharp visuals and fast load times! And the 512 GB storage ensures you have enough space for all the games you desire. The resolution of the LCD screen is 2064 x 2208 which is 30% more than the Quest 2! Not to mention the AMAZING PANCAKE LENSES! The switch from fresnel lenses on the Quest 2 is amazing. No more having to find the sweet spot when gaming! The pancake lenses were what mainly sold me on this headset. The mixed reality is extremely fun, although the library is limited. It's especially fun to switch from the real world to the virtual world. My favourite is using the mixed reality as I walk through my house taking advantage of the hand tracking. Here is the my main caveat, the battery life is not that long, which is only 2.2 hours on one charge roughly. The mixed reality activities will cut your playtime even shorter. Although you can get around this if you set your brightness low or turn on low battery mode. Another problem I find is the head strap, while the headset itself is comfortable on the forehead, the head strap around your head (Especially the back) can cause you to get uncomfortable at times, at least in my experience. Overall, for anyone looking to dive into a high end virtual reality experience I truly recommend this headset. While the price may seem high, the value it offers is undeniable. The inclusion of Batman Arkham VR is fun, I have been playing the game so far and it has exceeded my expectations. I hope you found this review helpful.
