It is very easy to relate with the writers point of view if you have ever worked with data. This book has depth and breadth. I read it twice.

This book is perfect for executives who don't have time nor needs to learn all the nuts and bolts of database management. This book is about data management for executives. It focuses on the "what" and the "why" - not the "how". It is a roadmap to bridge between business strategy and technologies. I highly recommend it if you are in the executive roles.

Not very informative.

My work is closely related to data quality. I read this book in one sitting ! I work in Digital Transformation but I found this very useful because of its instant accessibility. It's the right level of summary and detail to be immediately applicable. Worthwhile addition to an executive library.

I’m starting as an Analytics Manager in a couple weeks coming from Business Development. Fantastic overview of the overall goals of data management, the terminology and how to implement a data management strategy at a high level. I feel very well equipped to dig into the DMBOK in a lot more detail and now have a foundation of theory to build off of as I progress into my new role.

A really good and easy to read overview of what Data Management is. A perfect book to start, if you are a beginner and an excellent reference to have, if you are already an expert.

As I'm applying for CDMP, this book is a great help as a summary for the most important material to prep. There are some typos here and there hope they get fixed in later editions. Right to the point and easy to read. Delivery was awesome, same day.
