easy to use and works perfectly for travelling
100% recommend. we used this for travelling and it's been the best thing. We're not fans of too much screen time, but for what we used it for it's been great. It has all the apps and great picture. In addition to that, it's easy for my toddler to handle.

Bought this for my daughters 8th birthday, she loves it, and also love the audio books on it for bedtime.

A bit fiddly
You have to set up a kids profile and an adult profile and navigating permissions between the two is very tricky. Also you should know that the kids profile includes a monthly fee for some reason. It's free for the first year but then...Having said that, it's a decent product and the 2 year guarantee is brilliant. My son will definitely break it before then.

Good robust tablet for little ones
Bought as part of prime offer. Loads of functions & great that parents can control content & screen time. Seems very durable in its protective case.

Very disappointed. This tablet is inundated with ads for apps & videos even on the child's profile.
Very disappointed. This tablet is inundated with ads for apps & videos even on the child's profile. And there are no ways to turn them off. My wife tested the child profile and accidentally bought a Minecraft app. It was supposed to require parent approval. Imagine what our 4 year old would do! We purchased this tablet based on online recommendations for kids tablet, but this does not suit us at all. If you don't mind your child purchasing tons of apps and content and you just want him/her to leave you alone, then this tablet is for you. If like us you wanted a tablet where you child could only access curated educational apps that the parents selected with no distraction and no temptation, then I very strongly recommend against the Fire HD.

Highly recommended
Fab for little ones :) lots of apps to use to help and encourage learning and development. Great for watching Disney and netflix etc. Runs excellent, battery life is good. Quality excellent. Safety is great. Easy to use.
