It works like it is supposed to,but it should a clip to hold it on the glass. It keeps falling off

It works great but you need to use a nine volt ac/dc supply.

I used this to make more colloidal Ag than I could have bought in a store for the $50 it cost, so it is okay, it paid for itself. It lasted 3 years. This cheap one replaced a more expensive one. I bought it because I thought it was elegant in its simplicity. At the time, maybe five years ago, there were two machines available, now there are at least a dozen different ones.This design has a red and a black lead wire that connect on one side to a diode light and on the other side to a resistor. Newer designs isolate the electronics so they don't get wet. This design either ends up submersing the generator unit or one has to clip the electric wires onto the jar, in which case they get pulled out. The electric wires should be in a case or hanging over the water. Newer designs are much better.This is the cheapest, simplest Ag Colloid machine you can buy. It uses 9 volt batteries. Atlas Nova makes a few others types. The next one up has the same green thing with exposed wires, don't get that. There is another brand for the same price that sells a better designed product with the same 9999 wires. Atlas Nova does make 2 larger generators that sit on top of the jar, that's a better design but it's still not housed in casing, it could get wet and short-circuit if you accidentally spill liquid on it. Get the housed one.If you are going to sell your finished Ag colloid, you need to get a ppm particle tester, use distilled water nothing else, then label it (date and ppm) and I also suggest taking a photo of the test and posting that as proof it was tested. This is a tedious way to make money, 500 ml on eBay are selling for $20 a bottle or less (you have to buy the bottles and labels too!), reflecting a drop in price commensurate with increased supply from people like us starting home businesses.If you are going to use it for yourself then you can experiment with adding such things as: sea salt, potassium salt, azomite and ormus in small amounts. Alkaline water will speed the process up. Stirring and a little heat help. Put it in a dark place. Store finished product in amber or cobalt blue or purple glass, keep away from light. Does not need to be in a fridge.If you make a big batch and it has black stuff floating in it, you can strain it in an unbleached coffee filter. The black is Silver Oxide, small silver electrodes have to be cleaned often, make them long if you have a big jar. If it just tastes "bleah" don't dump it, water the plants with it, they will thank you later. If you see orange or pink particles, test for gold or platinum if you used distilled water and 9999 silver. You're not going to get enough gold to mold but you might get a few particles that are not silver from the process, if you do please post or email me.My understanding is you can make gold colloids the same way with the same machine, using 24K gold wire.A laser pointer shows the particles floating around and is kinda cool particularly if you want to make a video (turn out lights and then zoom in on particles lit with laser) or impress a small child with "science." Have fun with it. It's something you can make at home easily and it will improve health if used regularly.
