Soundbar SK1 2.0 ch Compact Sound Bar with Bluetooth

Easy to set up, gets pretty loud, great quality of sound

Easy to install and connect to my LG TV. Not stereo surround sound quality for music. But for the price it is perfect. Good for hearing challenged.

Update May-2026- It stopped working. it was easy to install this to my parent’s older TV (LG 42LK450-UB). Connected the included cable to the Optical Digital Audio Out port, plugged it in, changed input on their regular tv remote, and it worked. The key is that my parents did not want to have to use the soundbar remote, and this worked through the regular TV remote.

Use in RV with television because of air conditioner noise. Much easier to hear TV without turning up the volume. Voices are much more clear tone. One drawback is that it needs to be turned on and off with supplied remote.

As one who almost always writes a review for any product I buy, I should have paid attention to those who warned against purchasing this sound bar in their reviews. Although both of my TVs are LGs, which work beautifully, the reviews for this sound bar were somewhat mixed. I guess anything that makes it for one year at a price tag of $82 can’t be all bad, but this sound bar comes close. First off, the sound quality was borderline better than the built-in speakers that came with the TV. Since we have 10 foot ceilings, I purchased the sound bar with the hope that rather than having the sound of the built-in speakers bounce upward off the mantle beneath the TV, it would be directed forward from the sound bar. What I hadn’t counted on was the relatively poor sound quality of the sound bar itself. Imagine my surprise, however, when, I turned on my TV this morning and the sound bar didn’t come on as well. Thinking the batteries were probably dead, I replaced them. Fuggedaboutit!! The red light stays on, and no amount of cajoling with the remote has any effect upon the sound bar. It’s D-E-A-D. Almost one year to the day from the time I bought it. So, lesson learned. If the reviews are mixed for a product, avoid it like the plague. This sound bar is a loser.

I have had this since 2018. I am actually impressed with sound. This thing can get really loud. Get a good optical cord and it will not disappoint. Good job LG.

Very nice LG remote. Connects easily to my LG TV. Has great sound and very easy installation. I would highly recommend this for an LG TV.

This Soundbar works awesome, it is light weight, small & easy to carry and set up. It sounds very loud for the size of the Soundbar the sound quality is awesome. Good price and does the job ! I don’t need to use the tv speaker anymore and use just the sound bar ! Easy to hook up and user friendly . I would recommend!

I have an older LG TV, about 15 years old. The speakers just aren't that great and at higher volume some sound effects in movies can have the speakers buzzing. So I wanted a cheap way to improve the sound quality and this soundbar did the trick! Very please with the performance from it. One minor problem I had was...the optical cable is a very tight fit going into the soundbar. At first I thought the soundbar was just not working, but I realized I really needed to push on it harder to seat it into the soundbar.

Bought as a speaker for projector in a training room. Works great and has plenty of volume. Played some movies on it and does not distort for such a small unit. Does not have much bass but I would not expect much from a sound bar, but it is not all treble. Decent sound range and would work great in a home theater application with a sub.

Sound is good. Wired Connectivity is fine. When connecting with Projector via bluetooth, for every video selection in Netflix or Youtube, it disconnects automatically. Everytime we have to manually connect for each video. If there is any remedy, please suggest.
