There is particularly attention to detail and the texture of the crackle surface leads to a wonderful surprise. Considering it's Fairtrade and ethically sourced, I think the candy is great value for money.

All the flavors are delicious! Good quality black licorice- not too soft or too hard. I prefer the lemon but this isn't bad

I had never heard of licorice with chocolate before, then I started reading about these about a year ago. The first thing I bought was the variety boxes that are put out for Christmas. First of all, they make a beautiful presentation in the gift boxes – I did give one as a gift too. Now, on to the flavors, the first one I tried I thought “huh…that is kind of different”, then I tried a second one and I thought “I think I kinda like these”! After the third, I became totally hooked on this unusual (for the US) treat! My favorite flavor is the raspberry, followed by the lemon. But that’s just personal taste – they are all good.

Very tasty! Savor each bite because there’s not many.
