These run lightweight on the foot, but with plenty of cushion. My husband's feet run just at the larger size range and these awesome shoes start at size 13!! They arrived nicely packaged in a shoe box in another box. They were pre-laced, which saved some time and annoyance!We chose black since it's most versatile. Around the farm nobody cares, but these days a new pair of running shoes double as formalwear for events in town. So, the black on black work great for that!Water resistance is awesome since we walk a lot of morning grass and land - the dew here is generous and if you get your socks wet in the morning it can take a while for the damp to wear off.Since he usually has to order things in extra wide, we were very happy that the basic size 13 fit fine.We're very happy with these shoes and will definitely keep the listing in mind in case we need to step up the size for heavy winter socks!

I'm nearly a 15D but certainly more than a 14. These fit with the laces snugged up to hold my lower volume fore foot. The included foam insoles are useless. I replaced them with a set of gel ones and these shoes are now quite comfortable. There's enough room so I don't bash my toes going downhill. The lugs on the bottom pick up wet dirt but clear easily. Let's see how long it takes for the soles to wear flat.

Glad I ordered the 14. The shoes have a different foot bed support system and took a little bit to get use too. The grip is really good and feels good on wet and dry surfaces. Lots of support around the ankle area and tongue. Like how the top lace hole is metal which should make them last longer.
