There is NOTHING wrong with this product. My dog is just too big, too long in the chest and body and much too furry for it. Though it does fit his girth (we measured before buying and even allowed an inch of give), the fastening front strap is where things started going pear-shaped. This strap has to be in place or the thing just rolls around and...well, it just didn't work for him. Because of his body length, the strap forced him to bunch up and look like he was wearing an all too tight tube top right under his armpits. I did set the strap to the max extension available of course but I was impeded there as well, because of all the fur on his ruff. I can only tuck it in so much before the velcro pulls his fur painfully the whole time he's got it on. Further, because of the position he had to hold his head, his movement was (obviously) impeded. Please understand that his is a "my dog" thing, not a product problem. I was impressed with how well made and sturdy this thing is. A dog with a chest that isn't so deep with so many layers of fur would fit this beautifully. I've seen it on bull and french mastiffs and it looks super, which is why I ordered it. I did consider trying to McGuyver the thing into a better fit but then remembered my seamstressing skills aren't that great. It's a real honest-to-goodness shame it didn't fit (and they don't come any larger, sadly) or I'd otherwise have sung its praises---which, come to think of, I'm doing anyway. Super product, just wasn't comfortable enough for *my* oversize working floofer.

This is great! lets folks know, that he is a working dog. He loves to be around people and children and loves the petting and hugs. I was happy to receive this harness, it looks better in person. The harness is very well made. Fits well on my Golden Retriever and he is comfortable wearing it. He can move freely with no rubbing of the harness. He is currently in training to be a Therapy dog. He will be visiting: nursing homes, schools for handicapped children and adults, also he will be teaching children how to STOP DROP and ROLL through the fire department's education program. He will be visiting the wounded veterans, and some areas of the hospital's. Last but not least he will help me teach children in the schools, how to be a responsible pet owner, bite safety, and who to tell if they see a stray or injured animal. He has learned many tricks and is doing well in his beginners class. God willing, he will be able to bring a smile and comforting hugs to many, and help them to forget about their pains and worries, even for just a little while. Deacon and I will be able to leave from a visit, knowing that we have helped someone feel better, smile, and leave good memories, until the next visit. I am still waiting on the two extra Velcro patches, that say in training. These were to be shipped with the harness. I have purchased this brand before in pink and purple, so of course when I needed a red one I wanted this exact same brand/model. I love the molded contoured handle, so easy and comfortable to use. I love how perfectly it fits my dog. I love how well made the entire vest is and the “therapy dog” tags Velcro on and off easily (note: the “please pet me” tag was from a different seller). When I buy another vest I hope this type is still available, but I know that this one will last for years. I take the therapy dogs tags off to wash it and let it air dry. This vest is a great value for the price! Sammy is wearing the XL.

Therapy Dog Harness Service Working Vest Jacket Removable velcro Patches,Purchase comes with 2 THERAPY DOG reflective pathces I bought this for my Bugg puppy who is training to be a Therapy Dog. The fit was perfect, it is very well made. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the part of the harness that goes around the neck is difficult to get on. I did nor receive any instructions with this and so I'm just winging it putting it on. I'm not sure if the one I got was maybe a reject that ended up in the wrong box somehow. The strap around the neck is Velcro. It should go through the loop and stick to the outside of the collar part, but it doesn't you have to adjust it from the inside which is not easy to do, especially when you have arthritis. When my puppy gets bigger I will be ordering a larger size and then will see if mine was a misfit or not LOL. It is well made and well worth the price. Only issue I have is with the neck part, but other than that I would recommend.

Because I already have a therapy/service dog, I knew what to look for when choosing a vest for my second one in training, this vest is the same quality and sturdy workmanship as my other one, and having the "in training" velcro strips available was just what I needed. A word to the wise, don't guess at your dog's measurements, measure them exactly and refer to the guide. There is room to expand the girth strap or take it in somewhat, but this is a walking vest and meant to fit them comfortably, not tight, chafing or restricting. The velcro strips stand out well in day and night time, also.The D ring will hold a tank and the hand strap is a must for me, so this vest fits all of my needs. Now, I am looking forward to the day when I can take the "in training" velcro strip off. I love this product!

Zoe is working on being a Therapy Dog and this Harness is Great. I am proud to see her in it LUV the velcro it is strong and heavy, no worries about it falling or being pulled off her so easly. Also, the patches that came with it are AWESOME as well. She just turned One year old the 16th, of this month, and she has grown into it so well. I am really pleased with it and If I ever had to order another one I would not hesitate to do so. I LUV that the patches say Therapy Dog In Training, this has helped alot when someone thinks she is so cute and wants to pet her they see the Harness on her and they will ask before approaching her, before they would just come up to her and start petting her without asking. The harness appears well made & attractive, BUT IT IS SIZED POORLY. It was described as fitting up to a 39" chest. My dog's girth is 34.5" & it had to be adjusted to the absolute longest to go around his chest- he can't gain a pound & still wear it. The strap going across the front of the chest had to be adjusted to the absolute shortest to fit. I can't imagine the shape of the dog it would fit well.

I love this vest. It is incredibly well made. The stitching is strong. The vest is very comfortable on my dogs. I like that there is quite a bit of adjustment. I take my dogs to the nursing home and have 3 dogs of similar but different sizes. It fits them all. I like the sturdy handle on the vest and the reflective strip. The Velcro is very strong. This vest is very sharp looking. I train therapy dogs and will be sending one of these vests with each dog I train!

Easy to get on/off

This is the third therapy harness iv bought, we are now on the medium size. My puppy is growing fast so i skipped a size and got this one. It is a little big but i know it wont be long. This is amazing to put on, so quick and simple! The buckle is huge and although other family members have remarked on its size, for me its perfect. My pup doesnt mind the harness, it seems to be very comfortable on her. The small D ring on the back for attaching the leash is very thick which will require a new leash as my clasp wont fit. The harnesd itself is very well made, though unlike the smaller ones, this one didnt have the rubber handle, just the webbing which can be quite tough on the hands after a long period. All in all its a worthwhile harness and thr color is fantastic.

Trying to figure out how to put the neck part on the dog once I got it. It fit no problem very pleased.
