best food for African cichlids

I have a Demasoni and a yellow lab cichlid. My daily feed for the them is this companies Spirulina flakes. On Saturday, I give them a treat of this food and on Sunday is the no feeding day to give their digestive tract a rest. They love this food. The fish are still small so I only give them one pellet each at this time. I believe this to be a quality food and recommend it.

Any Cichlids will eat it.

The fish really like it, but it does sink really fast.

It sinks too fast and sadly my fish don't seem to like it. The plecos will munch on it but it's not their preferred food. On a positive side, the drip live the extreme shrimp pellets.

I bought this for my outdoor pond goldfish. I have a mix of goldfish from 2 inches to 10 inches. I wanted something they could all eat beyond the bigger pellets meant for koi. I bought this hoping it would work. I sprinkle a bunch on the side of the pond and they all come over and eat everything they can. They have grown nice this past few months on a diet of this food and whatever the scavenge from being outdoors such as bugs and such. Will be buying this again for next season.

I can't quite review the taste of this myself without trying it, asking my fish has proven quite impossible to get what they think :D ;D But after a year of feeding to a variety of fish every single pellet is immediately eaten and they keep growing and are healthy happy little babies. Lasts forever and great price. As long as my babies are good, I'm good. :)

I don't think it occurred to me how much I was buying but worth it nonetheless! I've heard and read a lot about the pebbles being too big but my bettas and seluangs (rhasboras) don't seem to have any trouble eating. They love them and avoid spit out any other food types I put in there (exception being blood worms, they love those). Fish colors have greatly improved since switching to this food also 👌
