Totally changed the game! This product is awesome super cheap and honestly looks pretty cool on my camera too. Super comfortable and easy to use!

I was debating about which accessory I wanted for my A7CII - the thumb grip, or the eye piece, since most of the options don't allow you to use both since they use the hotshoe. Well, Smallgrip not only made this beauty that has a coldshoe on top so you can at least still attach something like a video light or other accessory (no hotshoe extension, unfortunately, which I would happily pay for), but also an eye piece that attaches to the body instead. Amazon literally dropped these off 10 minutes ago, so no idea how well these will hold up, but so far, zero wiggle on either piece. Coupled with the baseplate with wood grip, these accessories completely upgraded the ergonomics of the camera (admittedly at the expense of a little extra weight and fiddliness). Just became a very big Smallrig fan.

Cute, but only average build quality and not that supportive on A7CR. Works better if you add a base place.

I got this for my Sony 7C and it's a nice addition to make it a little easier to handle. I went from a Canon system to my first mirrorless and noticed since it was so much smaller, it wasn't as easy to feel like I had a good hold on the new camera. This helped solve it. I got the silver version so it matched my camera perfectly. Well made, would recommend to anyone looking to add a little stability while holding.

I never liked thumb grips but I thought I would try it. I have a SMALLRIG bottom plate which protected the bottom but still did not allow my average to large hand to fit without my pinky dangling. With this thumb grip my hand is an inch higher to reach the thumb grip which allows my pinky a home at the bottom of the camera. It is very comfortable and the camera is secure in hand.

it is such a simple product but has increased my grip on my camera substantially. i am also planning to pair it with the grip extender and i think i can fully use my camera without any fear of dropping

Great build quality. Must have for small cameras (I have 7aCii). The camera grip is much better with this attachment.

Adds an extra grip and makes holding the A7Cii much more comfortable to use.

Accessorio piccolo ed economico, ma molto utile. Soprattutto su un corpo macchina compatto come la A7C (discorso analogo per i modelli APS-C), offre un appoggio per il pollice che migliora molto la stabilità della macchina senza praticamente aggiungere peso. Occhio alla ghiera superiore, che rimane utilizzabile ma risulta un po' coperta.

Ce petit accessoire fait une énorme différence ! Il améliore drastiquement la prise en main du Sony A7C II sans augmenter l’encombrement de l’appareil. C’est vraiment le jour et la nuit : l’appareil tient beaucoup mieux en main, surtout lors de longues sessions photo. Je ne m’en passerai plus et je recommande à 2000 % à tous les propriétaires de A7C II. Excellent produit ! 📸✨

Great thumb grip for A7CR, high quality and the stainless steel matches the camera body. Very comfortable to aid in gripping the camera body. Fits well and has a rubber gasket for weather sealing the hot shoe. Excellent value and well made.
