Excellent for Acne and Sensitive Combination Skin, But Packaging Needs Improvement
I really liked this face wash. It works very well on active acne, helps clear existing breakouts, and also prevents new ones from appearing. I have combination skin that is extremely sensitive. Even products containing niacinamide do not suit my skin, but this face wash worked wonderfully without causing any irritation or dryness. It cleanses effectively while keeping my skin comfortable and balanced. The only downside was the packaging. The two face wash tubes were stuck together with a sticky residue, and even after washing, the residue did not come off completely. The product itself is excellent, but the packaging quality definitely needs improvement.

The smell is too hard
Good: ✔ Contains salicylic acid (BHA) — good for acne. ✔ Glycolic acid helps gentle exfoliation. Not ideal: ❌ Fragrance (lavender perfume) — can irritate sensitive acne skin. ❌ Multiple color capsules — no benefit, may irritate. ❌ Sodium hydroxide — can be drying. ❌ AHA + BHA together in a wash can be a bit strong for daily use.

Average product, nothing special
I’ve been using Acne Star Face Wash for some time, and my experience with it has been pretty average. The face wash does a decent job of removing oil, dirt, and sweat from the skin, and it gives a clean and fresh feeling after washing. However, I didn’t notice any significant difference in my acne or overall skin condition. I was expecting a little more from the product, especially considering it is marketed for acne-prone skin. It may help keep the face clean, but I wouldn’t say it gives noticeable results quickly. The texture is okay and a small amount is enough for one wash. It lathers reasonably well and rinses off easily. One thing I noticed is that my skin sometimes feels slightly dry or tight after washing, so I feel a moisturiser is needed afterward, especially if you have normal or dry skin. The packaging is simple and convenient to use, and the product is easy to include in a daily skincare routine. I also think the results may depend on your individual skin type and the severity of acne. Overall, I would rate it as an average face wash. It works fine for basic cleansing, but I didn’t find it particularly effective for my acne. It’s not a bad product, but I probably wouldn’t repurchase it unless I find that it works better with continued use.
