Champion Men's Performance Rain Hoody Jacket

I grew up with Champion being a big name brand item where I was from. They sweatshirts and jackets were very popular back then - even if they were expensive for average quality. Now I'm older and I wasn't sure what to expect from a brand that's been around so long.Well I'm impressed. This windbreaker rain jacket is VERY well made and fits perfectly. I've actually received a few compliments on it the first few times I've worn it already. One of my friends was pretty surprised to see who it was made by also.I think the price for this jacket represents a great value at the time of this review ($80). I have a couple of brand-name items that are of a thinner material and they cost a more than double this one, so I'm really happy at how well made this is.I wore this to a windy drizzly day to play golf recently and it kept me warm and dry all day. I mean it was lightly raining for a solid 4 hours and I never felt cold or wet.This is a great product for them money. I wear a 43" suit jacket, so I ordered the XL size and it fits like it was made for me.

I liked the color of this windbreaker as I lack light colors in my outerwear and it's lightweight yet seemingly water resistant while remaining breathable. Probably not the best for heavy downpour but for light rainfall I think it'll be fine. Not sure why it's priced at $80 as it's not the best value...I'd wait for a sale.

Very happy with this windbreaker rain jacket! Wore it recently in heavy rain, and it worked great! I like that the blue and white color are highly visible since I walk around an urban area and I want to make sure drivers can see me clearly. Having the pockets with zippers is also very handy since you can keep your phone, wallet, or other important things dry. The hoodie works well also—it's super easy to put on and tighten. Overall, this jacket is excellent quality and I'm so happy I ordered it right before the rainy season. I'm going to use it all the time!

I’m going to be honest I have not thought about buying clothing from Champion in years. But my son really needed a rain jacket so when I saw this I figured it was worth a try. I did go up size to an XL, he currently wears a size large but I always go up a size in jackets, and I’m glad I did. It fits great with other clothing under it.I’m actually really surprised by the quality, it’s very nice! It’s very well made both in terms of the material used and the zippers. It’s not like any other rain jacket that I have purchased in the past, honestly it’s more regular jacket thickness with a waterproof outside material than it is a rain jacket. I’m actually really happy about that since it means we can use it in the fall when it’s to warm for a full winter jacket but also to cold for no jacket at all. All in all I would highly recommend this!!!

Oh, if only it would rain! I’m loving this medium weight water resistant jacket with attached hood. It’s good looking, not too heavy, and will certainly block the wind and rain. Where are those rain clouds?
