Belkin Reading Light for Kindle, Black

I ordered this light as I have experience with Belkin and their stuff is usually good. I own a Sony Reader PRS 600 and needed it for use with that. The packaging and presentation of the light is excellent. There is a very bulky multi-lingual instruction booklet which is probably not necessary as it's obvious how to use it. The light itself has very nice solid construction and very nice feel. The light has a bendy wire which can be directed any direction you want it to be.The light can clip on to the rest of the light when not in use. The light is secured to the book via a straight spring loaded mechanism. You just pull it out and it will clip onto just about anything and won't obscure your reader's screen unless it has a very small border around it. It works great on the Sony Reader anyway but can't comment on the Kindle or other products.The clip has a nice sticky surface to it which will secure it to the reader comfortably. I would say that the asthetic feel of the product is it's best attribute apart from construction.The light works using 3x LEDs and has 3 settings, off, medium and high light. This is a nice feature and not one I was expecting.Downsides to the product are the weight as it takes 3x AAA batteries. I haven't found this a problem though.Many lights out there are really cheap but I was pleasantly surprised by this one.

Ordered and received quickly. A very nice light with a flexible head that can be turned, so that your partner doesn't get bothered by the reading light. Two light settings, medium and full - I only use medium and find that is more than sufficient. It lights up the whole page of my Kindle perfectly. Only two gripes,1) The support is a little chunky, so if you use a slim kindle cover it protrudes at the rear and you can't double the front cover so easily. But it is solid and looks like it won't break easily.2) It would have been excellent to be rechargeable. There is space for the 3 x AAA batteries, so easy to put a rechargeable battery there.Therefore it only gets 4 stars from me, but altogether a good product and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. I had the small Verso rechargeable Light Wedge before which was small, light AND rechargeable. I found it perfect, but unfortunately they no longer make it so this is a very capable second.

I love this LED.it might want bit more expensive than another in the market, but it widths every penny. It's well built (no cheap plastic) and you can set it as normal light or strong for reading in the dark. I'm using it now for a couple of years and only now I'm writting the review. Still working like day 1. Very good purchase.

Handy lighting but very difficult to find batteries for it.

Very good light, excellent for reading in bed - camping etc. The batteries last forever. I have had my light for over 2 years and it is still going strong.This was a present for someone

Does what it's meant to, one big downside I have found is that the light's base clip is slightly too big for the kindle 8th gen. This means it either doesn't sit flush, or it creates a overhang on the screen blocking the first couple lines of text..

bought as a present for my daughters kindle, fits lovely over the kindle cover as well as just the kindle. brilliant little light.

Very bright and battery is easily replaced. However, it is quite bulky as sticks out quite a lot at the back. Would recommend though as it is the best ebook light I have had.
