Garmin Dash Cam™ X210, Compact 1440p HD Dash Cam

Very good product. It’s at a higher price point but it’s small, wi-fi sync a mini 30 sec clip is fast, 1440p makes a huge difference and a must for a wide angle camera. This cherry on top is the battery operated parking feature. It’s not hardwired to the car battery but better than nothing.

Garmin does make a great quality dash cam, but there are pro's & con's to the camera. Pro's: Easy to install & chord long enough to hide the wire. The display is great & easy to maneuver to get the full view. It is easy to download videos (I use an SD Card attachment to view via my phone & can also use for my computer). The best part is the hands free to save a recording &/or pictures and has some other settings which are easy to use via the camera itself. Oh, and without a "parking feature" that requires hard wiring, it has a reserve battery that works so I imagine it would record an incident if parked (but fortunately not have such an experience so I can not confirm). The only (2) Cons: You can not set the time or date, it simply can not be adjusted. Disappointing. Also, I haven't been able to use an SD Card reader for Apple - but works with Samsung. I have purchased these for ease of use & quick set up, and will remain with this brand.

I am so disappointed in this Garmin product! For the price I paid, it doesn't work worth a darn. The connection always fails. I always have to repair it with the bluetooth 9n my phone. You cannot download the videos to your phone unless you're at home connected to your wifi. Unless you join the Garmin vault and pay a monthly subscription! I've always liked garmin products I have garmin fish plotters on my boat and they work awesome. This little X-210 dash cam, it is not worth the money. I should have stuck with my Rove 4K. It was a lot cheaper and it worked. I thought I would try garmin big mistake on my part.

Great picture and field of view. The GPS + speed detection works great, and so do all of the driver safety warnings (collision detection, lane departure, and moving traffic). Very easy to install/setup, and it's much smaller than I expected.

So far, I have no problems with this dash cam. The video quality is decent. Unfortunately, I witnessed a motorcycle accident and the cam got a good shot of what happened. My only gripe is that the app takes far too long to download longer minute videos. It’s better to just take the Micro SD card out and move the videos to a computer.

Great camera

Looks nice, daytime footage is good, night quality is disappointing (noisy, soft, hard to read plates). But the dealbreaker is reliability. Died at 7 months stuck on the startup logo - no reset, format, or firmware reinstall fixed it. Garmin sent a replacement, but it's refurbished, not new. The refurb failed in a week and now won't turn on when plugged into vehicle power. A dash cam you can't trust to be recording isn't worth it.

Easy to install, small enough to hide from driver’s view behind the rear view mirror when attached to windshield, menu on screen easy to understand, power plug has 2 USB slots with one used by the dash cam, phone app was easy to install but could be easier to use, Garmin reliability whether it is freezing or roasting in the car

I've been using this for a couple of weeks. I bought it to replace my older Garmin, and the quality of the camera speaks for itself. The connectivity has been upgraded from mini-USB to USB Type-C, which is fantastic. It also syncs seamlessly with my older camera, which I moved to the rear. I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase.

Easy to use and great images. Get the accessory suction cup for the unit. The stick-on magnetic things are kind of a waste. I want to move this from vehicle to vehicle. The suction cup makes that easy and you can place exactly where you want.

Buena opción de dashcam, sin ser muy destacada, pero graba y cumple. Se calienta pero nada que afecte al funcionamiento o que deje de grabar por tal motivo. la recomiendo? Si si la recomiendo es una buena opción para grabar algún evento que pueda suceder y como respaldo para contar con evidencias. Ocupa poco espacio, el cable de alimentación es muy largo, yo la coloque atrás del retrovisor, quedó discreta y se puede ocultar el cable para que sea menos visible.
