Does this have 1mb of ram or 4mb?

Originally, Saturn had a 1MB RAM cart and a 4MB RAM cart. Some games worked with both, some games required one or the other. This device is compatible with all games, and automatically switches between 1MB and 4MB depending on what the game requires.

My Husband has the game (Eclipes) by sega saturn, will it work just as well with this system?

The device just bypasses the the region check program to the system. Solar Eclipse should work with the device in the slot. I assume the Saturn is an American model and the copy of Solar Eclipse is American as well. The Replay won't enhance the title to my knowledge, but shouldn't hinder you actually playing the game.If the game it's self is not loading up in your system I would suggest getting the games scratches removed at a store that offers that service. I'm just adding in case your having issues with the game it's self.

Does this not work for some games? it boots to ar+ menu (a sign it works), but groove on fight still complains about needing ram

That is strange I also have Groove On Fight, but it boots up perfectly What model/region Saturn are you using? I use a Japanese Saturn, the original gray one I don't know if this could have anything to do with your issue, or perhaps the disc is badly scratched? Also, it could be possible you purchased a defective AR

Yes can be flashed with Pseudo Saturn Kai (lite) software. Works as it should no problems with it so far.

Didn't work for me :(

Using it on a white Japanese Sega Saturn in the UK.Being an unofficial product this was always going to be a bit ‘hit & miss’ and from my experience this was definitely a ‘miss’.Worked first time booting up a UK game then trying it with another game it just sent the intro into a ‘loop’ and then eventually the cart not being recognised:Really disappointing especially how expensive these carts are (£34)Given two stars as this may work for some systems but judging from the reviews it’s a bit of a lottery
