AWESOME sound bar for the price.
Let it be known that I am not an 'audiophile' in the 'technology-aware' sense, but I would consider myself an audiophile in the 'appreciative of quality sound' sense. I've been in bands, worked sound for my father's band, listen to music, podcasts, talk radio virtually all day long, and in the evenings, I often watch action, horror, or sci-fi movies, or play video games. My wife looks at me like I'm crazy when I pause a movie to turn the surround sound on in our den (she doesn't notice a different between the surround and the tv speakers), so while I don't feel I know much of anything about ohms or watts or tweeters, I certainly seek out good sound.Which makes me VERY pleased to say I love this sound bar. I actually had the larger one from ULTIMEA (with the separate sub and speakers), and while there were aspects of that one that I feel outperformed this one, I also feel that for my purposes (home office w/ TV and gaming system), this single soundbar is best. I feel so fortunate to have found this, honestly - no more speaker wires, no fiddling around with ARC settings on my TV, I just used the 3.5mm and went straight into the headphone jack on my TV. I've been thrilled with the sound. Adjusted the equalizer on the TV and the bass/mode on the sound bar, and it is just perfect right now.Only complaint, that I'll echo from another reviewer is the lack of a display. It can feel a little like I'm playing a guessing game while navigating through different settings, but the sound bar is honestly working so well for us right now, it's pretty easy to overlook. I mean, it's $79 (at time of posting this review). Packs an awesome punch for that price. Very pleased.

Happy with it
The ULTIMEA 2.1ch Sound Bar for TV, Built-in Subwoofer, APP Control, Peak Power 120W, All-in-one PC Soundbar for Game, Bluetooth 5.3 TV Sound Bar Speakers, Opt/AUX/Wall Mount, Solo B30 Proseems good quality and well made. The included hardware made it easy to attach to the wall.It was easy to setup and get going.Included in the box are both a 3.5mm to 3.5mm 'AUX' cable AND an optical cable, which is great as I thought I was going to have to purchase a separate optical cable, glad I waited until the unit arrived! The app was easy to download and install; however, you do have to setup yet another account to use it, not really sure why it's necessary but it was fast and easy to do so.I'm no audiophile so this sounds just fine to me; however, I can notice sometimes that the bass is lacking, other times the sound is tinny and hollow. The sound is very clear though, even on high volume, no distortions that I could detect. It all depends on what you are using it for. For my purpose it works good enough. The power adapter is UL listed so no worries having it plugged in all the time. The USB port worked great, I loaded a USB stick with music and it was detected no problem. The AUX input and Bluetooth worked fine as well. The LED indicator on the front is OK, luckily they posted a legend of the colours on the top of the unit and on the backside of the remote, eventually you will memorize the colour code.My only complaint is the volume + / - buttons on the top, being touch sensors it's hard to know when your press is being acknowledged by the unit and sometimes they seem unresponsive, maybe it just takes some getting used to.Currently on sale for ~$90 (marked down from $150) with a $10 potential coupon discount. This sale price makes it very well worth it.

Impressive bass out of a sound bar this size but mids are muddy
I was surprised by how strong the bass in this sound bar is. The low-end is quite clear but can get distorted at higher volumes. Unfortunately the mid-range frequencies are severely lacking with this soundbar and leaves a lot to be desired. Even after adjusting the eq settings through the app, the mid-range is consistently drowned out by the low-end. On the bright side, the highs don’t sound tinny and even when loud, the highs are clear. After a few hours of listening you get used to the sound reproduction and the muddy mids isn’t that noticeable until you hear something with clear mid-range reproduction. I use it in my garage for when im doing work around the house or on my car. Electronic and rap music sounds pretty good on the soundbar and can easily fill a garage with sound. I demoed one of the Transformers movies with this soundbar, and a lot of the robotic SFX got a bit distorted at max volume. The bass is a little too strong with this soundbar, and I wish they traded some of the bass potential and put it towards the midrange somehow. At $200, this sound bar isn’t perfect and does leave some sound quality to be desired. Similar soundbars or even portable speakers are able to outperform this soundbar in quality even at a lower price, albeit potentially losing some connectivity options like optical. If you don’t need the extra connectivity options and would just use Bluetooth, I’d consider another soundbar or portable speaker before investing in this one.

A sound investment - no pun intended
Since my late teens, I have been a keen audiophile with a passion for the high end Hi-Fi equipment that my budget could never afford. In more recent years when financial pressures were fewer, I finally acquired the top of the line receiver that I had always craved only to discover that my aging aural reception no longer seemed to accommodate the quality of sound that had meant so much to me in my youth. More often that not, we watch TV without using the surround sound system. There is however one important caveat.Often it is not the TV sound quality that lets me down, but the bad sound engineering that is prevalent in so many of today’s dramas. This causes me to upgrade to the external audio to improve the clarity of speech. The one place I cannot do that is in my kitchen (or for that matter, the bedroom).Enter my new, inexpensive and very impressive ULTIMEA 2.1ch Sound Bar. Now when you think of buying a $150 unit like this, think very carefully about your personal needs. If you are a young rock and pop enthusiast or gaming fanatic this could very well suit you and your budget. If however you are an adult classical music fan, or crazy about raucous adventure movies, you should invest in a higher level multi speaker surround sound system.Considering these preferences, this unit is amazing for the price. Just don’t long-press the control buttons – they are super responsive. I love it.

Spectacular sound quality
This sound bar speaker has awesome sound quality! One of the best sounds from its size I’ve heard. It’s not small but it’s not overly large either. It’ll fit on any desk or cabinet easily. It has 4 rubber nubs on the bottom for grip so it stays in place. It's best mounted at chest height to get the best sounds either sitting or standing. The bass is perfect. It has built in preset equalizers for movies, games or music. All of them sound great. The highs are clear, mids are good and bass is decent. It doesn’t BOOM but that’s why it has an output for a subwoofer. But on its own its sufficient for all my needs, whether voice, music or movies. The volume cant be really loud, loud enough for any large space in a large home. I like the sleek and simple design and that the buttons are actually just touch sensors so there's no moving parts and it's easy to wipe clean as the top is completely flat. The remote is also sleek and well designed it’s made of plastic and rubber buttons. The buttons have such a satisfying click it's really addictive. The Bluetooth is simple to connect you just search the device on your phone and press the button on the unit or on the remote control. It comes with a male to male 3.5 mm auxiliary audio cable which is about 5 ft long. It also comes with an extension cable for the remote sensor. The kit includes mounting hardware if you wanted to mount this floating onto a wall that comes with everything you need screws drywall screws and the two mounting pieces. This is an awesome product, it's easy to use it looks great sounds great and it's priced decently.
