Works well for the price but I'm in south fl and its very hot so I use this to start ti thicken it and whip in the air but I set it in the freezer still. When it was winter I didnt need to but now in summer its barely thickening if I make it in the day but If I make it in the evening when the house isnt hot its fine. Just not for a day where im cooking and running the dryer and its over 100 out. For the price and the adorableness its totally worth it. But you do need to freeze enough time and you do need to be smart when you run it. Think indoor temps under 74 not over 75

My granddaughter love this ice cream make

My grand daughter loves it. Easy to use and makes a good amount of ice cream.

All I can say, is that my granddaughter was so excited when she opened her gift. She flew across the room to hug both her grandmother and me. One day later that excitement turned to heartbreak when her first attempt at ice cream produced soup instead of that frozen delight that she was looking forward to. Maybe I got a bad one, but more likely, this is just a toy that failed badly to do the job it was designed to do. We returned this, and purchased a more reliably functional brand instead. Too bad, we had high hopes.

I don't eat a lot of ice cream, but I do crave it sometimes and this little cutie solves that problem as long as I have heavy cream(aka whipping cream) around! It can make about 2 normal size bowls. Do not try to double a recipe or it will be a mess! My first effort was a complete failure as I tried to follow the directions precisely. I used choc syrup instead of whatever chocolate they were thinking of(it didn't say)and I used soy milk instead of regular milk. I ended up with a runny milkshake type thing. So second time around, I stuck with the basic vanilla recipe. I only had 1% milk, so I substituted cream for a quarter cup of the milk. I also substituted monkfruit sugar for the white sugar. (I try to cut out a little white sugar whenever possible) As you can see in the video & pictures, it turned out like a very thick soft serve ice cream & tastes terrific.😋 I don't recommend doing the "heating" step in the chocolate recipe. It was useless & I think it messed up the consistency. Also, don't whip the cream at all(the recipe required it as one of the steps prior to combining the ingredients). It really doesn't need it. The noise level is not bad. You can hear it in the video and that's because my phone is right up next to the motor. I can't hear it from the next room anyway. I don't stand there for 30 minutes waiting😂 I just keep the bottom section in the freezer for whenever I might feel like making some ice cream. That way I don't have to put it in & wait 8+ hours before use. It doesn't take up much room.

I froze the freezer bowl for several days. Then I followed instructions and started the ice cream maker. After 45 minutes, still no ice cream. So my 7 year old and I poured it into a container to see if it would become ice cream in the freezer. She was very disappointed.

Everything come just perfect nothing broke

I git this for my great niece for her bday and she said it was the best gift ever. She gets to have ice cream parties with her friends every week.

UK CUSTOMERS BEWARE -This looks great for kids but beware UK customers as it has a 2 pin (USA) plug and not a 3 pin Uk plug so is useless here in the Uk it cannot be used here. Also you cannot use an adaptor plug either because of the voltage its only 120V 12W and not 240V so an adaptor would blow the machine, shame because it looks lovely, wish they did one with a 3 pink Uk plug.
