Philips OneBlade 360 Authentic Face & Body Electric Beard Trimmer, Shaver and Body Groomer, 3X 360 Blades, 4X Stubble Comb (1,2,3,5mm), 1x Body Kit, QP2834/31

I am very particular when it comes to head, beard and stash shaving, trimming and edging. Tried various brands and types of implement over the last 20 years. This bit of kit has blown me away. Firstly, it is not cheap to buy, and the replacement blades look eye watering compared to others. However, the pay back is a plenty. I don't use it for straight forward conventional shaving, so for that you will have to read other reviews. I use it for pretty much every other thing and it is ACE! I use no cover on the blade to do my cheeks above the beard, the top of my head where there is the few annoying sprigs and where my beard ends and I shave my head (half way up the ear) for a clean edge to the head shave. No foam needed. Gets really smooth in my opinion and no rash. Next, I use the number 3 (3mm I think) attachment to keep my stash at a level I like (in keeping with my beard length which is maybe 9mm). It's very manageable in the under nose arena. Not as manoeuvrable as the Philips 1000 I used to use, but this is USB rechargeable and more multi functional, so... Should you be a manscaper, there are two yellow attachments. One is good for pit hairs. Doesn't make it look like you have whipped em all off, but it keeps them from getting all tangled in the lawn mower or kitchen waste disposal if you are in a string vest or moobs-a-kimbo. Now the prize gem (and I use the word gem as we are also talking crown jewels). One yellow attachment is for thine nether regions. Got to tell you, I've used other tools such as hedge trimmers and bic razors, all with the risk of nicking a scrotal wrinkle. And I have had those unfortunate eye watering and passing out moments. With this baby, I am like a ninja on phet wielding a samurai. no dramas and no pulling myself along the floor shouting "medic!". May not be as smooth as a baby's yet-to-be plum sack, but it is damn good. The result is a teabag worthy of Yorkshire finest purveyor. OK, last point. Yes the replacement blades are £££, but I have had this for 14 months and I am still on blade two of the three it came with. I use it only as described every 3 days (plums/pits more like every 2 months). They claim 3 months per blade and I believe this is not the far fetched marketing of some things I have used. There's my thrupence-haypenny, do with it what you will.

My son (16) uses this daily, good quality, small so portable. He finds it good to keep his tash and goatee trimmed and sharp looking. Can’t comment suitability for someone with more facial hair.

I would never go back to a normal razor. This is much quicker and easier and if you have a style to maintain you can actually see what you're shaving because you don't need foam. Very close shave for electric, not quite as close as wet but much less chance of in-growns so that's a win in my opinion. Excellent quality, especially for the price, waterproof and easy to use. I even bought one for my grandad who is almost blind and was missing bits when shaving. He loves this and gets a good shave every time now!

One if the most disappointing phillips products ever. I have a phillips coffee machine and it is fantastic quality and an excellent product. I received the product yesterday evening, immediately put it in charge, this morning I used a shaving oil as I have very sensitive skin and wet shave. I watched a video on how to use the razor correctly and followed the instructions. I started shaving my neck and after 5 or 6 passes over tge same spot it was still not shaved. I persevered, and it did nothing other than nick the corners of my mouth and give me a massive shaving rash. I would rather shave with a blunt, Bic disposable razor than this awful product.

Voor het eerst gebruikt, beste trimmer wat ik tot nu toe heb gehaald! Maakt je huid helemaal zacht. Moet alleen nog de ervaring van de batterij mee maken:)!

Devo ammettere che osservavo questo Philips OneBlade da un po’ di tempo, ma non ero mai stato particolarmente convinto dall’idea di provarlo. Dopo averlo utilizzato per la prima volta, però, devo dire che mi sono ricreduto parecchio. La cosa che mi ha colpito maggiormente è la lama: sottile, piccola e molto particolare, soprattutto se confrontata con i normali regolabarba. A prima vista sembra quasi impossibile che una testina così compatta riesca a lavorare bene, invece permette di raggiungere facilmente anche le zone più difficili e di ottenere una rasatura molto precisa. La tecnologia OneBlade arriva fino a 12.000 movimenti al minuto e il sistema di protezione è studiato proprio per rendere la rasatura più delicata sulla pelle. E soprattutto, cosa per me fondamentale, non mi sono fatto male. Anche passando in zone più delicate, la lama scorre bene e dà una buona sensazione di controllo. Ovviamente bisogna sempre utilizzarlo con un minimo di attenzione, ma la protezione della lama fa davvero la differenza. Nella mia confezione ho trovato tre lame/testine, oltre a diversi accessori. Ci sono quattro pettini scuri per la regolazione della lunghezza, da 1, 2, 3 e 5 mm, utili quando non si vuole una rasatura completa ma si preferisce mantenere una determinata lunghezza. Sono presenti anche i due pettini verdi per il corpo: quello più corto pensato per il petto e quello più grande per le ascelle. Personalmente trovo comoda la possibilità di poterli rimuovere completamente quando si desidera una rasatura più ravvicinata. Un altro aspetto che ho apprezzato è la praticità: è utilizzabile sia a secco che sotto l’acqua, quindi anche la pulizia è molto semplice. Per quanto riguarda la batteria, Philips dichiara fino a 120 minuti di autonomia con circa 1 ora di ricarica. Nel mio utilizzo è stata più che sufficiente: ho completato tutta la rasatura senza avere alcun problema di autonomia. In conclusione, sono partito abbastanza scettico e proprio per questo sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso. Non pensavo che una lama così piccola e sottile potesse essere così efficace, soprattutto riuscendo a combinare precisione, praticità e una buona delicatezza sulla pelle.
