The only drawback might be that the wheels on a smooth surface roll a little *too* easily requiring me to kind of "set" my chair when I get into position by rolling it sideways a touch to turn the wheels. Otherwise, it wants to roll away from my desk too easily. Other than that I'm totally satisfied.

These are very nice chair wheels. I have replaced the wheels on a number of my chairs, most often using the single wheel (roller blade style) design. However, this design offers the smooth glide of those single-wheel replacements, but with more support and durability. So they are a step above.Build quality is quite good - these are strong and durable. I think they will probably outlast the chair I installed them on!Installation was very easy - the old wheels simply pulled out, and these were then easily pushed in their place. No tools needed.Recommended!
