Very pretty
This works perfectly in my yard- I’ve used it for multiple holidays and decided to buy a second. The lights are bright and remote does a good job without needing to be too close. My favorite outdoor light out of the many I have had

Very Bright Projection
This can be seen easily even if there are street lights. Only negative is don't lose the controller as power on will make everything go on.

Remote had no effect could not turn off or change settings.
Did not work. Came on when plugged in but remote could not change settings, could not even turn it off. Replaced battery in remote - still did not work. Sending it back...

One of many very cool nebula projectors I've reviewed, but under-powered for large-scale projection
I have been very interested in these neat little projectors, and I ended up collecting nearly a dozen of them. They all have very similar functionality, the combination of red, green, and/or blue, along with white, these "nebula" blobs that move around in a similar way. The green laser pointer refracted to make an array of stars. And beyond that, a mix of other smaller features. So what I'm going to do here is discuss for this item what sets it apart, good or bad. I'll assume you're interested in this type of projector generally, and you're looking to see if this particular item has specific reasons for, or against, it. (Note: It goes without saying, these should be used in controlled environments. It has a laser pointer in it, which can cause harm if a child stares directly into the laser pointer source.)This model was the only outdoor one I tried. It sets up easily and has the very familiar nebula and green stars options, and I tried it with various combinations of the nebula. They worked somewhat well, but they were pretty under-powered for projecting onto the side of my house. Unless there's an issue with my remote or with the unit I have, the unit was as bright as it could be and it was underwhelming until the night got really dark, and when used with other lights, it's drowned out. Now, it might work well for you, and it functions well except for this issue, but to me it was a critical issue, so the best I can say is three stars, especially considering it is -- with due respect -- not a good value at 40 bucks.

Good show forthe price
So far this item has worked well. I use it to illuminate a maple tree in front the lasers pinpoint various branches and the northern lights give the tree a nice glow.

Decent light with good effects and adjustability but a little expensive compared to competition
I like how this light lets you customize the color variations, laser and color on/off/brightness, and it has a built in timer. The built-in timer feature is great so you don't have to unplug the lights at the end of the night or deal with trying to use one of those plug-in style timers. One thing this light does better than other similar ones is mounting. It comes with a spike mount for driving into the ground, like most of these lights do, but it also has a surface mount bracket so you can just set it on any flat surface or you can screw it down on the side of a wall or tree or whatever. This gives you a ton of flexibility. Both of the mounting brackets use the same type of interlocking teeth and a simple knob-screw and nut and they hold very securely - once it's tight it will not move. One thing I don't like about this light are that the nut that is used to secure the mounting brackets to the light is very loose and will fall out easily when you are switching between brackets or removing the bracket for storage. I'd much prefer if that nut were permanently embedded into the light so there's no way to lose it.Another complaint is the remote control is poorly designed. It's just a confusing button layout and labeling. Two of the buttons are labeled with "Cyclig" which is a shortened version of "cycling", when they could have just made it say "Cycle" and that'd fit better and be less confusing.A 3rd complaint is that the cycling modes where it changes between colors are very abrupt. I much prefer a smooth transition in all of my RGB color changing lighting...but I guess that's just a personal preference.
