This pillow is soft and comfortable it’s perfect for my husband eye surgery recovery.

This is a horrible product. This product is a joke. It doesn't lift my head at all. When I lay my head on the pillow, my face sinks into the bed, with no breathing room. It also compressing against my chin. Not a good product. It's horrible.

It's just okay. It flattens out pretty fast and makes it hard to breath, but its soft and generally comfy.

Only gave it 4 stars because after eye surgery the facial opening is not wide enough to get comfortable. Had surgery on left eye and when that eye is comfortably in opening nose and mouth are pressed against right side and hard to breathe. Otherwise it is a soft very comfortable pillow.

This pillow is very comfortable and supportive. I found it to be very comfortable and needed when having to lie in a face down position during my recovery from eye surgery. I recommend this to anyone recovering from eye surgery. I found the face popping to be roomy.

Best decision purchase in support to my Vitrectomy surgery and the prolonged facedown recovery. Also makes the facedown chair (think massage chair) more comfortable. It’s provided best possible comfort knowing you’ll be squishing your face staring down for endless hours, assuming one sticks to the directive recovery procedure. Keep in mind persons are different in structure. Certainly not a custom personalized fit product, but if ya could do that your not reading reviews on Amazon! What to do with the pillow afterwards when healed, unsure. Maybe a great upright pillow for camper gear!

Just being 100% honest here. This needs be be sized. This pillow as-is would likely work for someone with a smaller head and smaller torso. I am 5'11", weigh 245lb, and have a pretty big head (I admit it!). The pillow itself is soft and comfy, however the design to "open" the cushion for airflow is actually the flaw. There is inadequate support for your forehead, which should be where the weight is targeted. Instead, the forehead part is too forgiving. That brings in the second issue, too small of an opening. Since the face opening is so small, you can't properly reposition yourself to get the support you need. For me, it pushed the lower cushioning into my throat. In order for me to get comfortable enough to attempt sleep with it, I am cutting off my airway by putting all of the pressure on my neck. No matter the position, I couldn't get any adequate airflow. I'd much rather even sleep in the bench at my chiropractor than try to find any sort of sweet spot on this pillow. I was refunded for this, and will continue for my quest to find a device like this that works for me (and other large-headed Amazon shoppers).

I can not say enough good things. I received this pillow today and my worrying about how I would recover from my eye surgery in the facedown position for several days is now lessened. This pillow is everything they said it would be and I am very happy about that.
