Mosaic Sticky Mesh for Back Mounted Mosaic Tile 24" x 36"

The worst thing about this product is opening it up for the first time. The sides stick to each other so patience is needed to carefully unroll it. Once it’s opened up and cut to size, it works nicely, holding the tiles and glass in place. Pieces can be repositioned several times and the mesh maintains its stickiness.

Saved our project. Tile installers didn't plan our mosaic tile to be used for three separate areas and after installing the first two we ended up with a lot of unusable pieces. Sticky mesh to the rescue !! I traced the pattern need on velum paper, placed the mesh over it and started attaching the mosaic pieces (peeled off from the remnants). It actually didn't take long at all and tile was installed the very next day. Saved time and about additional $1,200 in materials. THANK YOU !!

This is extra sticky mesh. It worked very well for my mosaic project.

I love being able to reposition the tiles. When you first get this product it will have folds DO NOT TRY TO FLATTEN WITHOUT TAKING OFF THE PLASTIC BARRIER. I did and it was a nightmare getting it off. I put it on clear mylar to flatten further and to keep the mesh separated from the drawing. Works fine then. Don't leave it overnight in a tilted position. You will come back to tiles that may slide. I did not secure it well enough at the top and the whole sheet slid. Once you take into account these factors, you should be able to use it confidently I have not transferred it to a substrate yet. I used the whole sheet but it will have to be cut into pieces to manage the transfer unless you have confidence and a lot of help with the flipping over, first to expose the underside and then to attach it to the substrate. I am buying more but in smaller sizes. I wish the glue were a little stronger. Small pieces will not stay flat but this is a problem with any mesh.

It was sticky enough to hold things in place and allowed me to reposition tiles if necessary.

This adheres well for mosaic art projects. Very weather resistant. Flat surface makes application easy using most tiles.

I have a thin Bamboo rug by my kitchen sink which is a perfect & favorite color but needed to be fixed. The rug’s inch slats were glued onto a mesh backing and the glue dried out leaving the slats loose, so I placed this product between the back of the slats and rug backing. It repaired my rug but sometimes the slats still move when I walk on it the wrong way, so I expected the product to be stickier.
