This is a neat little passthrough dongle that allows charging a device that has a single USB-C port while connecting a USB On The Go device. It's the most compact version of this device type I've seen, and is perfect as an adapter to carry with you if you use an Android phone that can attach USB keys or if you have a small tablet (Surface Go, etc.) that you'd like to connect a device to. Construction quality seems fine and it's pretty much the minimum size I could imagine it being.Make sure you're plugging this adapter into a device that receives power, rather than supplying it, and make sure it's a port that can be used for both data and charging. Neither are universally true, but most Android smartphones and laptops should have the necessary support.

Using this to charge a handheld retro gaming console while using a usb PS4 compatible controller. Works good no power issues, and controller recognizes!

I had originally wanted this device to use with a chromebook. When it arrived, I decided to try it out with my S24 Ultra. It works great! I plugged a thumbdrive in and the phone sees the drive as storage, even while the phone was charging through it. Is this an everyday use idea? No, but occasionally I've wished I could copy files off my phone easily and this would do the trick. It also works great with a Chromebook to read/write to a standard USB thumbdrive and will charge it at the same time. I've put this in my IT/Tech toolkit.

I love this thing, it allows my connect a flash drive and still charge my phone while on the airplane. I no longer have to worry about battery life or storage space. Highly recommend to have one of these in your travel bags!
