Sturdy, you're not gonna really feel like you're gonna break these.... Supports practically any weight , normal height for a office chair and was very easy to put together, perfect dimensions meant the screws lined up perfectly. Only draw back I found was that my chair now has a off center of gravity as the Rollers on the legs arent as far apart as my old one... If I lean forward I may tip, but thats on me and your results will vary based on your chair. Doubt ill have to buy another one any time soon so very good bang for the buck and the cylinder doesn't deflate as i sit in it all day.

Seems heavy duty, much more than the original base that broke and had to be replaced, plenty high enough, too, and was glad to have avoided spending $250-300+ on an entire chair. I deducted a star because the mounting holes were not an exact fit. They were off about an 1/8 of an inch, which is more than enough to keep them from lining up with the holes on the seat to go straight into them without stripping the threads. To remedy this, I drilled out the base holes with a ½ inch bit, which added the needed 1/8 inch space all around. So I guess the makers of this base may want to do the same if this problem is prevalent. Of course, it may have been my chair whose holes were off and not the base. Either way, the base then made a good, solid attachment and everything's working fine. If anything goes wrong, I'll update this review. Otherwise, no news is good news.

Instead of replacing our newly bought chairs ($8 a piece at the thrift store VS $300 per chair brand new), we had the option to purchase these replacement bases and wow! I couldn’t be happier, my husband fixed the 2 chairs in 30 minutes

My 35 year old oak office chair gave up the ghost. The welds broke free. I could not fing a replacement part. This worked great. The bolt holes lined up with the old. I should get another 35 years from this chair. Too bad I will not live that long.

Ordered this in January to replace the base on the viral tic tok criss cross chair. I use it in my studio and wanted the ability to rotate around between my easel, and paint stations. However, this weekend it broke. The wheel on one spoke broke and dumped me on the floor. Not good for a 60 year old woman to hit the floor. The internal slot for the wheel on the spoke has cracked and now it will not hold the wheel if any pressure is placed on that spoke. Hard not to do when you are rolling and moving around as the base is constantly rotating on my LVP flooring. I have requested a replacement as this is only 3 months old. Let's see how the company handles it. If they are responsive, I will update my review.

If you're having trouble getting the gas cylinder off from the wheel mounts on your old chair to replace the failing gas cylinder, then buying a full base replacement is 100% the way to go since the cylinder can be almost impossible to get off of a used chair. I gave 3 stars because i cant attest to how long the gas cylinder will last (I will update my review after a year). Another reason for the 3 stars is the mounting holes are the correct size for my chair but dont fit perfect which makes me question the quality of the rest of the product. I could only use 3 screws as the 4th hole was was too far off center to get the last screw in (3rd and 4th picture). As for the mounting hole measurements, since this mount doesn't fit every chair and the seller doesn't have the dimensions listed, here they are. From narrow hole to narrow it is about 6" and from long hole to long it is about 10" (First 2 pictures). If you want a replacement for a failing gas cylinder, I would give this product a go but dont expect it to last for a long time as other reviews said it failed pretty quickly. Edit: After almost a year, its still going strong. I haven't sat in the chair as much this year due to moving but it hasnt failed.

When the company of the $400 gaming chair ghosted me after their metal base cracked, this replacement came in handy - it's sturdy enough and a decent fit, HOWEVER the scew holes weren't properly drilled, they were misaligned from the given measurements by millimeters, but enough to stop the base from attaching - I was able to fix this with a dremmel and a carbide grinding bit, but someone without tools will struggle. With a bit more quality control I'd have rated 5 stars.

Needed a base for replacement of a random amazon chair purchase 5+ years ago - works perfectly and fit the holes. Happy!

He usado esta base en mi Razer Iskur, y es como volver a estrenar silla gastando una mínima parte del precio de una nueva. Empecé desmontando la razer para bajarla al container y comprarme nueva silla, pero me daba por saco porque lo que es el asiento y la silla estaban como nuevas... Me puse a buscar "base" de recambio oficial, y no encontré nada. Vi esta. Vi que la distancia entre agujeros era exactamente igual, y me lancé, pensando que en algún momento algo saldría mal. Pero no. DPM. Fácil de montar, aspecto de calidad, y silla nueva. Lo recomiendo 100% (confirmad medidas entre agujeros, y guardad tornillos de vuestra silla, que con esto no vienen.)
