I have had/used this light for a couple of years now and want to share how it has been working. The shipping was fast, the assembly easy, and the operation simple. The physical structure of this light is very strong and yet light. The only thing here that I would have liked would be a slightly larger diameter base but the existing base has worked well and the lamp is sturdy. The operation is simple. The light itself is very good. The range of lighting options is plentiful and you should have no problems find a light effect that will suit your needs. Plus after all this time the light is still working very well. Based on how this light is working I would expect it to keep on working for many more years to come. A very good light. Recommend it highly. Excellent buy.

I was looking for a lamp to help with my knitting in the living room. Very happy with the purchase. Great solution. I like the range of light, the flexibility of the goose neck, the sturdiness of the base. Would definitely recommend!!I am very happy to leave an update to my review. Today is November 29, 2023. After 2 years in use, the goose neck broke, right at the connection to the head with light bulb. Not knowing if there would be any warranty left I decided to reach out to Customer Support. I have received a very quick response, answered the questions about the use of the lamp, and was so happy to hear that the seller would ship a replacement part. The replacement part turned out to be the entire piece, from the controller all the way to the head of the lamp. I was so thankful, however the controller was malfunctioning, and the lamp wouldn't turn on. At this point they have sent an entire lamp, a brand new lamp, as a replacement. I am very happy with the Customer Service, and very happy with the product as well. Back then, in 2021, after I've experienced the first lamp I went ahead and bought another two. I have two lamps at home, and one my husband uses at work.Great product - Great Customer Support! What else can you wish for? :)

Finally after 3 tries the perfect reading light for me! I was able to get a 39.5 inch on the 90 degree height; thus the light is below my eyes while reading, not above my eyes blinding me or someone else when I angle the light outward to avoid this. Love the choice of light colors and light brightness, up or down. Also, I love that there is a light cover. There is an easy to find on & off switch due to the soft blue light on the switch. Controls are at the perfect height by my chair. Love that the previous settings remain when turning the light on and off. Love the shorter 8 inch light area verses that long 18 inch shown in comparison photo above; thus a more minimal look and out of the way - and the long is so un-necessary for reading. This floor lamp looks so much better in my living room! Finally, I love its’s weighted bottom. I like that is heavy yet not too heavy, I can easily one arm it back and forth as needed. Yes, this is the one!!!

I ordered 4 of these lamps based on 4.5 rating out of 1245 reviews. Three of them were gifts. Two of the 4 broke off at the base - mine and a gift. There was no heavy impact or rough handling. They were replaced; however, the column broke in half on the gift replacement after approximately 33 days. My replacement is still in the box and has not been assembled. It seems that the screws are too weak for the weight of the base. Ease of assembly and options for lighting were outstanding when used for puzzles or closeup handiwork. But the lamp is no good when it breaks and will not stand up.

We bought two of these lights for our bedroom. Now my husband and I can read in comfort without disturbing the sleep of the other. Especially appreciate the variable light intensities and temperature. We had hoped to place the lights behind our bed (a king size bed that is very heavy and no easily moved), but the diameter of the base is too large for that. Fortunately the light itself is adjustable to any angle so it works well beside the bed. Good value for the price.

I LOVE this light! I can see! The light is versatile in that it can be a desk lamp or a floor lamp. The base is good and heavy. I was setting it up, had it as a floor lamp, then later I noticed that the post on the base of my laptops adjustable arm stand might be a great place for it. I took the little cap off the top of the base post and disconnected the top part of the lamp from its base, well the solid post of the lamp fit right inside the laptop arm stand (sorry if this is confusing, please see pics). I did add a piece of rubber around it so that it wouldn't get scratched or swivel around. Works perfectly!!!Now as for the options on the light, very nice! I use them all. The various light colors for different uses. And it really does help my tired sore eyes as I use the computer as well as doing paperwork. I also bought a couple pairs of blue blocking reading glasses at the same time. Together these items have greatly helped me see clearly and without straining my eyes. I Love my new setup. I highly recommend!
