Love the mantel. Looks great

These are excellent quality, solid wood shelves and look great! I chose to go with unfinished shelves so I could stain to match our home's wood tones. The rough texture was easier to stain with a mini roller than I thought it would be. I bought the 72" shelves to cut down to 68.875" to be flush wall to wall in our pantry. This made my install more difficult. Because my studs are not centered on the wall in this pantry closet, the (4) pre-drilled holes on the back of the shelves must align with the 4 pegs on your mounting brackets. I had to cut different lengths off of each side of the shelves to ensure proper alignment. Although I was able to hit 4 studs with the existing pre-drilled holes on your brackets, having more holes to allow centering on the wall would have made cutting and mounting for this type of install much easier. I used a 2 x 4 to make a template ensure the whole placement aligned with the pegs on the mounting brackets before cutting my shelf and I am very glad I did to avoid a costly mistake. I also mounted the bottom shelf with the screw holes to secure the shelf facing downward so they were are not visible at eye level for a cleaner look. This seems to be equally as strong as the other shelf where the screws are on the top side of the shelf. This made my wife happy.

Great product easy to install and fast delivery

This mantel/floating shelf is absolutely gorgeous. We ordered the 66" Grey color and I love how you can still see the natural and beautiful wood grain lines. The mantel doesn't come with any instructions but it was simple enough of a mounting system for my husband to figure out. Due to size and weight (it's about 30 pounds), the mounting system is not strong enough - as the mantel does "sag" off the wall a little. We thought once we screwed in the bottom screws it would help "firm" it up but it did not. We will be buying some decorative bracket pieces to add under the mantel for added support and stability. Other than that, it's a sturdy, solid piece of wood. Unfortunately, 2 of the corners did get chipped (during shipping) but it's not bad enough to merit sending back. (Unless you're looking for it, you can barely notice). Long story short, I wish the company would use better packaging during shipments (the corner of the box was literally broken off and I could see the mantel inside the box) and I wish they would figure out a better mounting system so it's more sturdy and secure. The wood, however, is absolutely gorgeous and amazing craftsmanship went into shaping this!

Wall studs in apartment are weird but once figured could easily hold 150+ pound person!!! Looks great and matches the floors and kitchen colors wonderfully! Wil (eventually!) fit my 65”tv once I get it up with room and ties room together nicely! Great solid wood craftsmanship and will like leave for next tenant cuz the room (and Christmas) need it! Colors DO vary cuz is natural stained…. Glad I went with grey, thought it would be too dark… but once up, glad I did and not natural!!!! But excellent piece that will see many Christmases in future years!

I recieved my grey colored mantle in good condition. I chose grey because it matches my new floor and it pulls out some of the grey bricks that are mixed in to the wall. I did not want to use the floating feature, so I cannot really comment on the quality of those fixtures. I would refer you to other reviews that address that. I had our handyman drill some new holes in the back and mount it on the metal bolts that were inserted when the wall was bricked in during construction. The wood is heavy and works nicely as the fireplace mantle. I am satisfied.

Perfect for my application and looked at many. Most were hollow and looked ok but this was solid. The finish is nice, a little raw but color is what I liked. Easy to mount and VERY solid. Would buy this again.

⚠️ One star. This mantel was extremely disappointing right out of the box. The finish has multiple blemishes, the wood seams are visibly separated in several places, and the overall workmanship looks rushed and poorly done. To be clear, I am not referring to the intentional distressed or rustic appearance. I mean areas where the stain appears to have been touched, rubbed, or bumped before it was fully dry, possibly during handling or before packaging. These marks are defects, not part of the advertised finish. The packing material and shipping box were both in good condition, so this appears to be a manufacturing or quality-control issue rather than shipping damage. The mantel also arrived with sawdust and handprints on it, and loose sawdust inside the hollow body poured out onto the floor when I removed it from the box. It does not look nearly as clean or consistent as the product shown in the listing photos. This was supposed to be one of the final pieces of my home remodel before listing the house for sale. Now I have to rush to find another option, while also dealing with repacking and returning this large item. Maybe I received one from a careless production run, but this condition is unacceptable for a product at this price. I would not recommend it based on the finish defects, separated joints, and lack of final inspection. 🗑️

Comes in a bit rough, could use a little more sanding, and I had to varnish it myself but happy with my purchase.

The piece is very sturdy and the color is a nice grey, but unfortunately it came damaged. I am returning it...

Colour does not match description and photos. Stain on wood was uneven and comes off easily (one wipe with a wet rag and colour fades). Wood quality is heavy and solid along with the frame, but my piece had holes and gaps and cracks in multiple places. I was disappointed considering the money I paid. Poor overall quality control and workmanship.
