I have bought two of these 250 and 500 I wish I had bought the 500 in the first instant I will be buying another 500 as I feel safe that I have made the right choice thank you

This is for the 320gb version. Item delivered as described. Now I'm using this as a storage device for my Smart TV (Android). After unboxing, you get the obvious storage device, a user manual and also a connection lead. I should point out that it loses 1 star as the output port on the HDD is one I've never come across before! This means if the supplied lead becomes damaged or you lose it? well, you're going to have a hell of a job finding a replacement! That's really the only downside to this product. Anyway, It's immediately recognised by my computer (USB 3.0 storage device). A quick check and it's formatted as "exFat" and shows as 298gb which is correct (due to different ways storage is read - it is 320gb). Ran a quick disk check and no bad sectors which is always a good start. I then plugged it into my TV which again, recognised it straight away. As I plan on never disconnecting it from the TV, I then let the TV reformat it so it's locked to the TV. A quick check again when all done, and the TV sees the storage capacity as 320gb (oh the quirks eh?!). It will mainly be used for storing audio & video so it wont be dealing with many re-writes to the data. I've tried it quickly with a Film and no buffering issues. What it will be like when nearer to max capacity, only time will tell. As this is a Solid State Drive, I've purposely decided to use it only for audio/video/photos that I intend to keep. Why? SSD drives in my experience start to fail when you are constantly re-writing data to them (i.e. new over old). They excel at one time writes so if only used for data backup, photos, etc, you'll less likely come across them failing. Again, ideal for what I need it for though I'll need to do a hunt and buy a spare lead! Can't really complain though as price is stupidly low.

I’ve been using these hard drives for years. They are great to use with my MacBook and can handle premier pro. I recently purchased one which was a complete dud, did not work. It wouldn’t connect to my Mac at all. I have ordered another one (I’ve brought 8 or 9 in the past so I trust it was just a faulty one) and will return the malfunctioning one to the company. They’re great !

A great external hard drive. It's exactly what I needed. It's compact and has all the space needed.

This hard drive works well and is a lot faster than my old one! It appears to be very well made, with a metallic painted metal case. I would prefer the activity light to a be a little bigger and brighter, and also the data cable to fit more flush with the drive but those are minor quibbles especially at the price!

As far as I can tell from internet searches, this is a common problem. The return window has closed (after 8 months) but the hard drive has stopped connecting to my laptop. The problem is the port that the power/data lead plugs into. It's too flimsy and has stopped working. Advice to other customers would be - if you intend to leave it in place and you will not plug and unplug, you will probably be OK. If you want a Portable External Hard Drive do not choose this model. I've now got the pain of paying for an expert to try to retrieve my data. Since my previous hard drive had the same problem, I won't be buying Maxone again. It's more expensive than average and doesn't go the distance.

El disco duro sirve para tareas sencillas, más su compatibilidad con consolas de videojuegos, la cual es la razón por la que lo compré, deja mucho que desear. No sirve para Wii, Wii U. Aunque el anuncio decía que servía para consolas Y el servicio al cliente en particular es horrible Si quieres un disco duro, hay mejores alternativas por el mismo precio No es malo, solo la empresa no da servicio al cliente en lo absoluto.
