This is a great can opener! I used it first while I was taking care of my daughter’s kitten while she was away. She brought it over for us to use. It opens the cans such that nothing is sharp and it creates a way to use the top AS a top in the refrigerator too. It sits on top, sits closely enough such that I am comfortable using it as the top for a few days. It stays on and can be used several days in a row. One more thing! It is very attractive. I got the dark red handled one and love it. Easy to use!! Easy to clean. Strong. Sturdy. Nice size!

Works great and easy to use on my first 16 oz can.

Out of the box-good looking, rubberized handle and large opener key, nice warm brown handle, seems to have excessively sloppy opener key. Other than key slop nicely built unit. Does it do it's job well? First can, felt that had to go around can three times to get lid off. Let company keep money but send complaint. Maybe operator error. Test on ten cans. Second can only one revolution can lid seemed to need prying off-not good.Still maybe me. Fifth can and this thing works great. Smooth action sounds good and cuts lid as it should. So good in fact that I knew cans one and two were learning curve. Can five I lifted can off counter and at end of cut slightly turned key counter clockwise. What a mess on counter and one third of my green beans into sink. Ouch! As an instrument technician this opener operates excellently with minimum effort. Looks good and sounds smooth. Both can top and can have no sharp edges or even a splinter. Found top hard to remove at first but by giving can very slight grip pressure hug seal is broken and top is popped. Keep can bottom in contact with counter top while opening or risk a spill. Believe price to be fair for what it is. End result it opens cans properly each time it's used once you learn how to use it. Works smoothly and quickly! It's easier to use than other can openers of this type. The opening of the can is a bit jagged however, it's not as bad as a regular can opener but not as smooth of a surface compared to other ones that cut like this, so just be careful.

This thing has me sold with the no sharp edges pitch. This particular one that I received, can't cut anything. But since I waited until I needed to actually open a can, and it was outside the 30 day window.....I can't return it. I'm a mechanic by profession, so it's not me, trust me. I tried to try something upscale so my wife wouldn't cut her hands. So buyer, don't just beware, buy something else. This thing is trash. And I never leave reviews. I just happened to use it for my mother's birthday last weekend so she could make her famous spinach artichoke bites and I got embarrassed with this POS and had to punch a hole in the can with a damn flathead screwdriver like a typical Marine. Uncalled for and unacceptable!

I was about to return this item because I wasn’t sure if it worked and then I realize that it cuts the can so smoothly that it almost looks like it doesn’t work. But just try using it as directed and then remove the lid and you will be amazed.

This can opener is so smooth & effortless to operate & takes lids off so easily. Love how clean it the cuts lids off with no jagged edges & no more hurting hands like the old ones. Takes a minute to figure out it’s even cutting since it cuts outside of top instead of inside & first csn was open before I could even tell! Nicely designed product & highly recommend.

Have this can opener for over a year and highly recommended it .to anyone needing a safe can opener. It is easy to use and there are no sharp edges on cans. Have purchased another one to gift to a friend. Highly recommend this brand.

Nice design, easy to use. Took a star because the little magnet on the side does nothing...I thought it lifted the lid off once removed.
