Poorly made. Handle was not properly welded to grater and it fell off first time I used it !! Would not recommend this product. Cheaply made.

So happy to have this! My son lost our other one. I opened it up, washed it and used it at dinner time to shred cheese on my salad. I like the 'big' side, and use it to grate cheese. No clue what the other sides are really for and it has no instructions. All I remember, even as a kid, is the sides with the tiny holes are HARD to clean so I just don't use them. I picked this one because it looked solid and sturdy. I like the easy shape and grip of the handle too. It fits easily over a bowl or plate and when I was done with it, it cleaned easily. Happy to have made this purchase.

Strong, sturdy and sharp. A bit tricky to clean, but I think it's worth it.

I've just used this device for potato chips, and it's as efficient as a food processor, nice thin chips! Fast and definitely effective! It is sharp as others have observed, but it is obvious that using a classic grater that you have to pay at least a little attention to what your doing. This would appear to be well constructed as well as effective,but I won't swear to that, having used it for the first time. But others are so cr---y made that this is the only one I've seen that even appears to be durable and possibly long lasting(and believe me, I've looked!).time will tell but for now, save money on your electric bill, don't need a processor for simple tasks, use this instead!

We bought this grater to replace a crummy one we got at Ikea a few years ago. I can't believe we used that other one for so long! This grater rocks and it reminds me of the grater we had when I was a kid. Not much to say about a grater except that it does its job well (grating), it's sturdy on the counter, and it's easy to clean - I think most people would be able to get their hand up in there to clean out the inside when necessary.

Very sturdy! Excellent fit and finish. This thing will last for many many years.I love the coarse and fine graters for both soft and hard cheese.

It's a decent value for the price and what you're getting, though it might be a few dollars cheaper at Ikea or your local grocery store. It's dishwasher safe, but one of the four sides is still a pain to clean if the dishwasher doesn't get it all.
