Do I need to set how many hours I need in the morning?

Our fish tank timer offers three default timer modes(6, 10, and 12 hours). You set the timer at the hour you want the light on, and the timer will turn the light off after the set amount of hours.

Does it come in automatically everyday after setting the time initially?

Yes. If you set the aquarium timer to 10 hours at 7 o'clock, it will come on daily at 7 and go off at 5 in the afternoon.If the power goes out or it gets cut off for any reason, the settings will be lost until you reactivate it.

Can the timer switch other colors of lights?

No, the aquarium light timer can only adjust the light brightness. It can not change or switch the color of the light.

What lights does this timer work with?

It will work with any 12v-24v LED light with the same 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector
