VERY easy to assemble. 8 hex wrench screws, 4 for the base and 4 for the top. With 2 extra. A properly sized hex wrench was included, so I had the thing assembled in about than 5 minutes.The adjustable height is really nice. It can act as a side table or be adjusted upward so it can work as a typing table. The top part does not tilt. The base seems heavy enough to minimize out of balance situations. (Top swiveled to extend beyond the base with stuff on top.)The top is not nearly as large as one of those tilting movable typing tables but it is large enough to fit a compact keyboard, along with a compact mouse. Sorry about the photo, my compact mouse was in use elsewhere, so I had to make do with a larger ergonomic mouse, but even with that, I think it is workable.The built in mobile device holder is wide enough to hold my 13 inch tablet, but it won't accept it with the case on it. It is exactly what I expected, it feels well built, and adjustment is easy. I expect this will serve me long term. I can recommend this small-ish table.

Very easy to assemble and perfect for holding my laptop. I have a cat that insists on being on my lap at all times, which made it impossible to use my laptop. This little tray table is only big enough to hold my laptop, but that's exactly what I needed. It's tall enough my cat can fit on my lap underneath and now everybody is happy. It's lightweight, but stable, and easy to move out of my way when I need to get up again. Amazon is now raising the price, so watch for the table to go on sale, but it's worth the $35 I paid for it.

The table is sturdy and easy to assemble, with a rustic wood look mixed with modern metal. All of the parts were accounted for plus there was an extra screw. It has easily adjustable height and the swiveling 360 degrees to accommodate different angles. It works well next to my couch. I wish the surface area was larger, but I knew the size before I purchased it.

Easy assembly. Works for food, laptops, small projects, side table. Easily moved, lightweight but stable. Easily adjustable.Wish I'd have spent more for real wood. These are nice but they do look particle board adjacent and they are always on display .They are exactly as described and a very nice sturdy, durable product.

I probably should have researched this a little better. The platform mounts to the stand on only on the left side, so, in order to used the tablet/phone slot in an effective position, the base can only be slid under the left side of the recliner I purchased this to use with, and my current furniture configuration isn't set up to accomodate putting it there. I have been able to use it other seating situation where that position works, and the adjustable height and overall sturdiness of the tray table makes it worth keeping, but for it's original intent, I'll have to try something different.

Great little table. Impressed that the screw holes had brass female end so screws weren’t just chewing up wood. Made for secure and easy assembly. Sturdy little table works perfectly next to my bed. Is easily height adjustable so can customize height.Has a slot on one side. Guessing that’s for wires to charge devices. I am not using that part.I put felt pads on base so slides. Comes w non slick pads on base. Glad I bought it.

Exactly what I needed. Simple to assemble and the spare screw is nice. Adjusts in height easy and seems pretty sturdy overall.

Pros: Does basically what it supposed to.Cons: Don’t like how i can’t swivel freely.the bolt to secure where you set height is also where it would swivel. Was hoping to adjust height and then be able to swivel with a quick pressure lever to lock in place.

I have owned close to the same features as this one and price very similar.This product is designed SO much better. The product itself, wood and mental post, is also a lot more solid and better actual materials
