I ordered this mainly as a bit of a novelty gift, but also because I’m constantly battling those impossible-to-reach itches between my shoulder blades. At £9.99 (on offer when I bought it), I thought it was worth a try, especially as it comes boxed and looks a bit more substantial than the flimsy wooden ones you usually see. First impressions were good. It comes neatly packaged, so it genuinely feels giftable rather than something thrown into a plastic sleeve. The telescopic handle feels solid straight away – it’s stainless steel and definitely sturdier than cheaper versions I’ve had in the past. It retracts down small enough to pop in a drawer or travel bag, but extends out long enough to reach right down your back (and even feet, if needed). The best part is the interchangeable heads. You get five in total, and they all screw on securely rather than just clipping in, which makes it feel much more robust. There’s a dual-sided spiked head, claw-style heads and rake-style heads, so you can switch depending on how intense you want the scratch to be. Some give more of a gentle rub, others are more targeted. It’s surprisingly satisfying having options instead of just one standard scratcher. The handle has a soft rubber grip which makes it comfortable to hold, even if you’re using it for a while. It doesn’t wobble when fully extended, which was something I was slightly concerned about. Everything feels reinforced and well made. In terms of performance, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do – and does it very well. It reaches those awkward spots easily and gives proper relief rather than just skimming the surface. If you prefer very sharp prongs you might find some of the heads slightly on the blunt side, but for me it strikes a good balance between effective and not painful. It’s one of those small things you don’t think you need until you have it – and then you wonder how you managed without it. Overall, sturdy, practical and a genuinely useful little gadget. I’d happily buy it again, either for myself or as a stocking filler or birthday gift.

Quality back scratcher. The heaviest duty back scratcher i have owned. Only second to my bread knife for itch relief. The only criticism i would give is that the tips of the prongs need sharpened slightly to give more of a scratch than a rub. Worth the extra few pounds. Comes with many screw in attachments reaches your feet and hardest parts with ease.

After some cheap thing that broke, I waited a while before trying to find another back scratcher. This one is head and shoulders above the others I've tried - The extendable shaft is thicker and more robust - The heads screw on interchangeably meaning that the weak spot of the head meeting the shaft is overcome as it has to be stronger by design - This came with 5 different head types (including what looks like a chicken's foot, lol) Anyway, very happy, great value, nice packaging making it suitable for a gift, and a nice variety of scratch types. Oh, and it's a much longer extendable shaft than most, making it suitable for taller and/or wider people. UPDATE: 5 months on this has stood the test of time, lots of use and extending/retracting. Really great.

Magic! I had a thin short telescopic one before,this one is thick, sturdy,great quality. Nice choice of heads. Extends long,not fragile. I recommend this.

Good back scratcher, comes with multiple heads which is really nice. I won’t use all of them. I would say the pointier head still is a bit too blunt for my liking but far better than the other one I bought. The heads all screw on and stay on firmly too. Again very sturdy item, telescopic and can be lengthened ect to suit. It’s lightweight and easy to handle too. Makes reaching hard to scratch places much easier. It does the job fine and I would recommend to someone wanting something fairly priced and that does help. It’s not the best but it’s reasonable.

Tellement pratique quand on souffre de grattonite aiguë 😂 son bras télescopique permet d'accéder aux endroits difficiles sans avoir besoin de se contorsionner !! Et le plus, les différentes mains de grattage plus ou moins prononcées qui se vissent et se dévissent Très simplement sans avoir besoin de force ou d'outils. Je n'ai qu'un seul regret, ne pas l'avoir acheté avant🤣
