We have several long runs of outdoor low-voltage lights. The connections are usually not well-protected from moisture, so we paint on a liberal slap of Permatex to keep them clean and dry. It works really well outlasting electrical tape, and the brush-in-can setup makes it even easier to use. Recommended!

If you never used it before it's great for wires that got chewed by mice, or if there is a nick on the wire coating. If you used it before you know how great it is!
