I have contacted the seller in regard to the boxing suggesting that the video resolution and photo quality are adjustable, however the manual does not provide how to do so. Hopefully they will respond so all who consider purchasing will know. The video and audio quality are good. The touch screen is excellent and user friendly, and side buttons all function well, and laid out nicely. The options for settings are mostly good also. I like the 90° power plug in, to make hiding the wire more doable, and a long enough cord for this too. The other NICE thing is that unlike almost all other DVR's, the micro SD card slot is perfectly accessible on the BOTTOM of the unit...nicely thought out.I have but one con...so far. The mounting system. It uses a very small, non-standard size thread to mate it to the suction cup mount...which is the issue. The mount, when securely tightened, as tight as you'd dare with plastic, does not provide a 'stable; video while driving...it shudders, and vibrates... On a brand new highway, at speed, I can get a pretty decent video, smooth for the most part, but it shakes with every little bump... I like the overall unit enough that I will attempt to modify a fix...or somehow add an adapter to the small threat and something more stable, such as possibly a 4" Manfrotto mount I have used with another camcorder at one time. If I can adapt it to work, it will be a perfectly stable and durable mount to use..or, maybe find another way to mount it... The unusual size of thread used will be the catch to overcome...On a last ditch effort, if I decide to keep it, maybe I can adapt the standard 1/4"-20 thread to use with most other available mounting systems.I will update this review once I figure out the solution, or if not, will return, and try another brand that will be more stable. The direct 3M double sided mounts that secure directly to the windshield are great, however, it would not work with this model, and leave any adjustability for the lens view.If anyone has had a successful modification for the stabilization issue with this particular DVR , please let me know. I bought one of these which was defective (it kept turning off no matter where I had the sensitivity set). The next one keeps blowing fuses because the adapter is defective (the metal prong on one side of the plug does not even stick out to make contact). The seller is supposed to send a new one, but that was long ago and have not gotten it yet.6/11/19 - never did get the adapter. This defective one ruined a module in our car that would have cost us $400 to replace. The dealership confirmed that the cause was the defective adapter. Could not afford to fix, so we no longer have a 12 v outlet, and my husband had to wire a fuse adapter to the battery. Now only about a year after getting the dash cam, I also have a mount that is broken; and the company is unable to furnish me with a new one. Hopefully, a universal mount will work; but I'm concerned that another review states that the screw that connects the mount to the camera is a non-standard size. Love the dash cam itself, but the accessories obviously are problematic. Reasonable price originally............but to fix my car from the damage the adapter caused would cost me $400.............pretty expensive dash cam.

I love having a dash cam because you just never know what the idiot in front of you is going to do, and this is your only defense. With the cam, you would increase your sense of safety for yourself while driving, especially in the long driving if you are on a trip.Loop Recording function is awesome. When the TF card is full, the early video will be covered.Recording time interval can also be set up in the menu and chosen from 1min/3mins/5mins.Manuel is really clear for me to read.The image is absolutely amazing! you would not regret getting this camera, totally recommend it.For the price, you cannot beat this cam!

The camera works when the power to it is on. I was told that you could use this camera when you were away from the car and some one triggered it by motion but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do that after reading the instructions playing with every setting I can think of, and calling it every name in the proverbial book. I also can't seem to figure out how not to have the camera shut off after about 5 mins. even with the power on. I have to keep waking it up by pressing a button on it. I haven't even tried to review the memory on the San Disk for fear I won't know how to, or discovering that this thing isn't recording anything. (tell you the truth don't have time to mess with it) I just hope if I ever need it to record it will.

I had noticed the battery stopped working awhile ago, but figured as long as I had it plugged in thatbit would be okay. Now it won’t come on at all even though the cord is plugged in and registering power to the charge indicator on the plug. Also, I took out the micro sd card once and when reinserting it, it went into the housing instead of the slot. Had to buy a new 32 gig card for it. Not happy. They should refund my money. Haven’t tried yet to get refund.

Perfect dash-cam. My friend bought this one before and suggested this one to me. So far so good. I always want an inexpensive dash cam for work for insurance against bad drivers. For this one, there is many options and easy to navigate. However, it is small enough to hide behind the rear view mirror so I don't worry about relocating it. The set up and install was easy. The video quality is very clear, it has sharp dynamic range.Main reason I got this is to be my eye witness for everyday driving and it does the job, especially for its price.I thought it would be a useful for every driver.
