very good for the price.fit me about perfect.length is a bit short,so if over 5'6",maybe get a larger size.very light,and comfortable.seems well made.smells a little strange for a while so put it outside for a few days.pockets are about the right size for a pack of cigarettes.

I wasn't expecting this vest to be as soft and supple as it is. I'm planning on customizing it for use and wear onstage and it's perfect in being light and not too thick or heavy. There will be customized patches added as well as studs and chainmaile and because of the softness of the leather, this vest is not too difficult to sew through. It arrived fairly quickly and it's perfect for what I need it for!

Arrived 3 days earlier than estimated (cool!) I got the 'Hog Leather' version (hog, buffalo, whatever-they're both good eatin') fit is decent-not great,but decent; side laces are a little wimpy, but I'll be replacing them with something sturdier; same with the snaps; arrived this morning, rode this afternoon, day was warm but not hot, very comfortable riding with this vest on; definitely has an odor to it, but I'm ordering a leather care kit that should take care of that; all in all, a good value.

I was very satisfied. Of course the vest is not real leather--it's not going to get you accepted into your local motorcycle gang. But it's reasonable well made. As a medium, I also found it a good fit (although I'm a little on the trimmer side). Pictures are accurate. Laces, buttons, pockets all pass inspection. Definitely felt I got my $20 worth.

The vest is nice and looks pretty much as I expected although a little small. Makes no difference however because I ordered a men's vest with no patches like the one in the picture and I received apparently, a women's vest with women's patches. I will be returning it. Update: I do like the vest and so I decided to carefully remove all the patches and keep the vest. Since it's patched leather you really don't notice where the patches were plus I'll be sewing new patches on eventually.

Even though this is parch leather and is made from hog it is excellent quality. It fit as expected and did not run small as some reviews stated. I used it for a costume and sewed wings onto the back. The leather is thin enough to use a standard sewing machine.

Nice fitting, good-looking best. It is not buffalo. It is pig skin and it smelled like it was cured with pig entrails. Had to leave it outside for three days before I could bring it in the house

Very good product for the price, could be a little heavier material.
