M-Pact Covert Tactical Gloves (X-Large, Coyote)

***SHAMEFUL PRICE GOUGING DURING A PANDEMIC!*** I was looking to get a 2nd pair of these gloves as i had used my first pair for just about everything from golf to gardening and landscaping to using heavy power tools and they are now a bit tatty as a result, but still wearable and looking good overall which is a good thing in my opinion. HOWEVER: When i first bought these (Large Size) they were £29.60 back on 16 April 2018, now they want over £40 for them. Shop elsewhere, don't feed price gougers! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've only worn them a few times since getting them, and although i know they're not designed for gardening, I even wore them to pull some weeds and they did well, and came up nice after quick cold wash. So they appear to be well made, and as a result they should last. One thing that annoys me about the gloves are the 'side tags' that has their company logo on them. They already have their company name and logo on the body of the glove, so why bother adding annoying side tags?! I really want to snip them off, but of course if i do that the material at that section of the body will become weaker. These are supposed to be like 'tactical gloves' yet they have a side tag on each glove which could get snagged on something and possibly cause you to injure yourself, however unlikely that scenario may be, the chance it can happen exists simply because those side tags exist. I know this is a niggle, but these sorts of thing annoy me. My suggestion to this - DO NOT CUT OFF THE TAGS, but simply cut them where they fold into the loop so that they are no longer a loop. That way they can't snag. However, I'm not going to drop any stars from the rating because of this, the gloves do appear to be well made and they do fit very snug like a glove of this type should. So to be fair, i honestly can't fault the gloves. Please, if you're making a newer version of these gloves, don't add any side tags. In place of side tags, I'd rather you added an outer hand padding to the glove which extends from the wrist to the first knuckle before the pinky finger. That'd be sweet.

Fantastic gloves with quality you'd expect from Mechanix. I have used these when running around in various weather conditions, from hot dry days to cold and rainy for a few months now. Crawling through bushes and mud. No problems at all. Comfortable, durable and easy to clean (just toss in a washing machine and hang to dry) I just wish the pointing finger had some sort of protection as well, not as thick as the rest of the fingers, but something at least. Other than that no complaints. Will buy again when these have met their end someday.

Great gloves. Bought for when I'm out inthe woods camping and bushcrafting. The palm gives very good grip and the TPU sections on the back of the hand give very good protection against bumps and scrapes (which I tend to suffer a lot of). Although they arent flash resistent, they still allowed me to tend the fire and handle the pans that had been over the fire with no troubles which I wouldn't have been able to stand for long with bare hands. Also, the snug fit means they still allow very good dexterity (assuming you get the correct size) for most tasks. The only time I had to take them off this weekend was when I wanted to roll a cigarette. For the price these are a great glove. Yes, there are better, more hard wearing options out there but they also cost at least twice the price that I paid for these and you also sacrifice some of that dexterity so at this price point I wouldnt hesitate to reccommend these.

Great quality and fit. I got a medium which is a size down from what I normally have (I have size 9 hands). They are snug but not too tight and still allow full range of motion.

These gloves are hands down the most well made tactical gloves on the market. The full grain leather is of excellent quality and is super comfortable and grippy. The quality of the stitching is second to none, the protection of your palm and knuckles couldn't be better. Mechanix run their gloves true to size so I would recommend getting a size smaller, my hands are usually a large but these were ever so slightly bigger. These gloves should be standard issue for the military and anyone who does outdoor work. I'd also recommend running these with their lighter weight version that doesn't have knuckle protection. Exceptional.

Nice gloves, keep the cold off, but not intended to be too warm, or waterproof. Great for working with hand saws or knives, nice protection on the top f the hand, and tough enough on the palms. Ideal when moving wood or pointy things, keeps the splinters off. Sizing is odd but go by the guide and you should be roughly right. I have small fingers but medium palms, so I went for the small size and theyre fine
