Redgear Elite Wireless Gamepad with Ultra-Precise VR, Vibration Feedback, Smooth AXBY Keys for PC(Black)

Hey everyone! I got this just yesterday and I tried it with far cry 3 and pes 2017. Redgear elite is the latest version of the redgear Gamepad series and the affordable version of redgear pro series.It is a wireless gamepad ,So no strings attached.You can rest on your couch while gaming.It uses 2.4Ghz technology that supports up to 10 meters of range. ---------------------------- ●●INBOX CONTENTS●● ---------------------------- 1-Redgear Gamepad 2-Bluetooth dongle 3-USB cable for charging 4-Installation CD 5-A quick start guide This version looks slightly different from their previous gamepad.The quality and performance is also improved.The battery inside is Li-Ion.It will last for 9+ hours on a full charge and Just like quick charge in smartphones you would get 2 hours of gameplay with 30mins of charge.That's a very impressive and useful feature.The button layout is similar to a PS3 controller and different from the previous Pro series.Redgear PRO gamepad is compatible with all PC games because of the X-input and D-INPUT support.You can also use this with PS3 and AndroidTv. ●●BUILD QUALITY & DESIGNING●● -As I said ,the design has become more ergonomic.It is completely made of plastic.It provides a comfortable in-hand feel.Even though it consist of a battery, it is still very lightweight.The overall build quality is very good.In terms of visual appearance.the front section is matte finished. The Bluetooth dongle works fine ,It's small. The installation and setup was very easy to go.It is very nicely illustrated in the quick start guide.I paired and connected this gamepad with my windows 10 PC and it works flawlessly.You don't to pair it again ,Just plug the dongle and press the home button on this gamepad and you are ready to play. ●●BUTTONS●● -It comes with 2 Analog triggers,2 analog sticks and 11 digital keys.The face buttons ABXY are backlit in different colors.Both analog stick feels much smoother now and are easy to play with.The DPAD buttons and the face buttons are slightly on the firm side.So it will not press by mistake.These buttons provide good feedback.All the buttons are very much accessible. ●●GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE●● -As usual I tried this gamepad with PES ,my fav football game.And I have no complains.Everything works fine ,buttons are very responsive and well spaced.The sticks are much smoother than the Inline controller.But still these are not as good as the SpeedLink Controller I own.The Vibration is much powerful ,Although the intensity of vibration varies with the game scene. This gamepad worked just fine with DonBradman cricket, NFS, and Street fighter. The dual mode operation and the burst mode is very useful.You make use of the bursts mode by doing this: Press and hold the turbo button while pressing the button you want to bursts, For example : TURBO + X , will make X button in bursts mode. ●●Battery Life●● -It will last of 10 hours as the manufacturer claims.I didn't test the exact battery life.In my 1 week of usage i had to charge it for 2 times only.Please note that I play PES almost every 2-3 days and Play it for 3+ hours straight .I can make a rough guess that it will last for 8-9 hours on a single full charge. Anyway the quick charge feature is a life saver.Even when the battery gets completely exhausted and you forgot to charge it.Don't worry .just plug it for 15-20 mins and you will get 1.5 hours of gameplay.I didn't test that feature though it looks promising.For a full charge you are required to plug this in for 5 hours (keep it overnight) . ●●Am I satisfied with the purchase ?●● -Yes ,Absolutely this gamepad is good.Because it is much better in terms of build quality and gaming performance than many in this range .Anyway ,these are perfect as a wireless gamepad for this price tag.I have no complains at this moment but if I come across any ,then I would surely update this review. It is a very good controller, as long as it is bought in sale. I got it for Rs 749, and it is worth it. The main advantage of this specific controller is that both sticks are side by side and are easily usable using thumbs. The range is also good. There are two issues that I came across while using this: 1. The controller does not work properly when playing games installed on android TVs like Crossy Road. I connected the controller to my android phone and played PC games on it using Steam Link and it worked perfectly. 2. The charging port is not USB type C, but the cable was provided in the box, so it was not much of an issue.

believe me, was surprised with the quality of the product received at this price point. it easily connects to pc {windows 10 home} ready to play.i have tried with FIFA 18 and Batman Arkham Knight works flawlessly.vibration effect is awesome.I dont know about the lasting of the product have to look forward to it.overall the quality exceeds the expectations.when coming to the battery, it is made 600mah rechargeable battery which provides 30 hours of battery back up. it is a 2.4ghz controller provides a fast response. the controller is compatible with pc, ps2, ps3. it connects easily with them the only con which I found out was the charging port in the controller was old micro USB plot so we have to take the cable along your travel.but comparing to the price of the controller, it is not a hectic task

The controller is good. 3 starts because the usb port is the old micro-usb so we'll need to carry the cable they have provided for charging. The marking on the buttons also came off in the first three weeks. Edit (17-11-2017): Bought on 13 October, the D-bad started acting up for the past few days, the forward button feels squishy, I play around 3 hr a day mostly Tekken 7. Even with my heavy usage i expected a bit more millage from the controller. Edit 2 (22-12-2017): After the forward on D-pad completely stopped working, I opened the controller up to check the issue. The rubber contacts for both forward n down were broken. I had an old controller lying around so replaced the rubber contacts beneath the D-Pad and the controller was working great. But on 18th of this month mid play the battery light started blinking, I thought the battery was over and tried connecting with the charger but the controller simply stopped connecting to my computer and the indicator light keeps blinking randomly. Overall a bad experience, I have the red gear pro wireless as well which I've bought almost an year back (edit: bought on 27- Jul-2016) and that still works with regular use, it's better if you go for that.

At Rs. 999, the product is value for money. However, there are quality issues. The receiver develops faults in few months usage. The importer/distributor sends receivers within the warranty period, free of cost, if you contact them and send the invoice scan. The main controller is ergonomic to hold; it is quite slimmer compared to other controllers. The switches quality could have been much better. The front analog switches (LT/RT/L2/R2) have weak springs. The springs lose their tension within a few days of usage. I use the (RT/R2) switch for throttle control in racing/driving games, and I can feel that that switch has become "loose" (i.e. lower spring tension) compared to the (LT/L1) switch, which I use for braking. The controller pairs with the receiver immediately upon turning on. There is a drivers CD included in the package; however, I never needed to use it with my Windows 10 system. Battery backup is good; it lasts for a few gaming sessions. It charges in 2 - 3 hours. The controller can be used while the battery is charging. Important note: make sure you carefully examine the package upon delivery. The seller is selling used products as new ones. First couple of times I received used products. I could easily tell by the state of the packing, and the haphazardly packed product inside. I had to return them and reorder; I received a new product in the third order.

The gamepad is absolutely awesome, for the 1st time i ordered only 1 but as it got delivered i loved it so much that i ordered more for everyone. We connect it with our Android/Smart TV & our laptops too. It gives a very thrilling experience to use it with your family. Especially the vibration function in it that makes it more enjoying while playing. The best multiplayer games played by connecting all our gamepads are: 1. Bombs Squad 2. Unkilled and many more will be tried...... If anyone is buying it for the 1st time then he will not regret at all.

this is my third joystick for pc gaming and this one is wireless, working well as it says, and battery power is also very good, i have used it about 15 hours but no prob presist till now, and the feature of playing while charging is awesome when v consume all of the power and need of recharge then it helps a lot, then guys if u want a wireless joystick under 1000/- rs then go for this, in current time its little pricey but mostly it stay as 900-800-1000 etc i bought it 1200/- rs but it consume my tension of extra money i paid with its performance, total power in your hand, muwahhhhhhhhhhhhh

Even after 5 years it works perfectly fine and can run every game. Without any problem. Some extra shortcuts I have learned: Back button + B - hold for 5 seconds and it turns off the gamepad Left analog button (L3) + back button - switched joystick and dpad Turbo + any button - assigns it for rapid fire, useful in some cases Hold home - switches between Xinput and DirectInput Theres a hole at the back of gamepad, if you use a pin or anything small enough to press it for 5 seconds it will reset everything, including the pairing.
