Perfect for my Home Studio
Fantastic packaging. Very well made. Easy set up. Would definitely recommend if your budget is low for a pair of monitor stand.Edit: I have 5" monitors, so these stands don't rattle.. if you have bigger monitors, I'd suggest you go with something else.

Components don't fit together properly
Downsides:1. The platforms are slightly shaky and do not comply well with the supplied screws.2. The stand vibrates at low-mid frequencies (obviously making rattling noises).3. I also noticed that the stand rusts a bit.Upsides:1. It can handle some weight.2. Cost-effective.

They rattle
I'm using them with JBL LSR 308 MKII. They do take the weight but at some specific frequencies, they rattle.

Stand Back!
Amazing service! I order these one day and the came on the next, and I only paid standard delivery. The came nicely boxed but there was not instructions, which is not a problem for studio geeks like us.I have seen some reviews complain for holes not being punched through properly or sharp bits of metal, but the pair I got are relatively faultless.People have also complained that the plate on which the speakers sit is small and yeah it’s a bit small but perfectly big enough for my Alesis monitors. They come with stickers that stick onto the plate to stop vibrations and slipping. Once you put your speakers on top they will be pretty sturdy. I even tested this by slapping the slide of my speakers to see if they slide off… they did not.The only problem I can see is with the triangle bases, It can be a bit sharp on the corner where the metal meets, and if you like walking round in barefoot in your studio, if your foot came into contact with the corner of the base you might see blood. This can be easily solved by just putting a stripe of black electric tape down along the corners of the triangle bases. For the money you pay, these have transformed my studio and also the save on space. Before I had these, my speakers where on a chest of draws and a stool. Now, thanks to the Sampson Stands, I have loads more floor space. All round great purchase. Very Happy.

Fortunately I managed to bang a hole through the metal ...
The stands arrived quickly, but upon opening I realised that one of the holes in the bottom of the stand hadn't been punched in the factory, meaning i couldn't construct it. Fortunately I managed to bang a hole through the metal with a hammer and a screwdriver, but it wasn't easy. Then when I had done that, the screw I had wouldn't grip properly to the thread in the central column! So I had to jam cardboard in between the washer and the nut to sturdy the thing up and stop it wobbling.Once these user-customisations have been completed the stands function fine... but it took about an hour to get to that point. So yeah, they're fine for small monitors (i'm using them for a new pair of Sonodyne SRP400s), just beware the non-existent quality control at the Samson factory.

Cool
I am happy with this stands. I use them for maudio bx5's. Although they do not fit perfectly they seem to be fine when attached to the stand with tape. if you bump them they will fall though so it depends on your standards.
