Strathmore 59-701 Textured Inkjet Paper, 8.5"x11", 25 Sheets , White, Packaging May Vary

This made a nice print of my watercolor. Good size great price. Picture is the prints mounted on cardstock and the single is the original so you can kind of see the difference. Some details and color changes but good enough for a print also makes the original stand out.

A perfect paper for an artist who wants to make prints of their original art work. It has a nice canvas-type finishing--perfect for highlighting brushstrokes or mark making. My printer pulls this paper through seamlessly so it's not too thick, but it has enough thickness to fit nicely in a frame using a matte and backboard for additional support. A good value for the money I think. I ave already ordered this more than once and plan to use it again in the future.

I just got this textured printer paper today, and WOW—I am already blown away! I had a beautiful Etsy digital print I’ve been meaning to bring to life, and this paper made it look absolutely stunning. I tried printing it in both small and large sizes using my basic HP printer, and you’d swear these were professionally made! The texture adds such an elegant, high-quality touch—it’s hard to believe I printed these at home. I’m already so excited to use this for more projects and can tell this paper is going to become a staple for me. Highly recommend!

This paper has a nice "watercolor paper" texture, but it does require some fiddling. Color reproduction is a bit dim/dull despite the paper being BRIGHT white, so you'll need to do some practice prints to figure how how to adjust the color of your original. I would recommend testing it with some small images to get your workflow right so you don't waste too much paper. I couldn't find any color profiles for it but I'm not an expert. My second caveat is very much a "your mileage may vary" one - my printer doesn't always accept it through the normal paper path although it does accept other card-stock weight paper. I think whatever coating it has may be making the rollers slip. I tried actually painting on it with watercolor and it takes AGES to absorb, so I think it does have a coating of some kind. (Obviously that's not the intended use for this paper, so not knocking it for that.)

I knew I wanted to do something unique for my wedding invites. I had the idea of making black and white "tickets" with the RSVP and details for my wedding. I had purchased this paper for another project and never got around to using it, and then I had the idea of using it to print my invites. They came out really beautiful. I was able to print them just fine in my inkjet printer with no smearing, no stray lines, or anything. I do have an art printer, so it would be worth looking into the specs of your printer to make sure this paper would work. It's thicker than printer paper, which gives it a great structure for my invites, but may cause problems in some basic printers. There is no need to do any crazy setting adjustments when printing. I have the matte textured paper and just changed the quality to "best" and chose regular paper settings. I have not tried printing with color on these yet, but I bet it would look great. Another thing to note for crafters, I was also able to use my Cricut to cut the invites out after printing with absolutely no issues and the final product is beautiful.

Have been looking for a textured paper to reproduce original watercolors that I paint on textured cold press paper and then scan. This paper seems decent though not truly fine-art quality. For sending out greeting cards with a pleasant texture it is probably fine and economical. At first I got pretty bad results blotchy and gray instead of blacks, but I believe I had printed the first examples on the wrong side of the paper. It is not marked. Looking at the package I tried printing with the side up that faces the top or front side of the package. The texture does look different on the different sides. The back side looks more indented like with tiny golf ball dimples. The front texture looks a little artificial and not really like any natural cold press WC paper I've seen. This is undoubtedly a regular cellulose paper that has been embossed. At any rate, after I got the right side it looked much better with okay dark density and slightly soft definition. The weight is slightly heavier than Epson Matte Double sided which has been my default smooth inkjet paper for art and matte photos. It feels a bit stiffer. I print using an Epson r2880 with matte black ink, using the preset for Velvet Fine Art paper, as well as the Watercolor Paper - Radiant White preset. About the same. Next time I send out holiday cards this might be a good choice without breaking the bank. Not sure what else I'll use it for.

It's OK I guess, can't say it's fantastic. As one the reviews here mention, good enough for greeting card but not really for fine art.

This is great paper! I love the texture and feel. I just have one Complain to make. Whoever is shipping this please sandwich it between cardboard or some thing. Most of my paper I’ll head dog ears on one corner. I was able to fix it by slightly dampening and ironing it. Not perfect but it did the job. I probably will buy more because the quality is outstanding but I feel very nervous doing so because of shipping practices. UPDATE ordered again and the paper was not damaged. Great paper will buy again.UPDATED 3rd time buying this paper. Paper did not come damaged. I was nervous when it arrived in a bubble wrap envelope. Box that holds the paper was crushed but the paper was good. This paper is outstanding. I have not found anything better.

This paper is incredible. I have a pretty good printer but nothing crazy, and the printouts look like watercolours.

Prints great but arrived damaged from the shipper. :/
