I bought this Ewedoos yoga mat to upgrade from the basic GAIAM ones you can get anywhere for $10-15, and I am very happy with it! It is longer than a basic mat, which is nice for a tall girl like me (5’10”), and it is a bit thicker too. The extra thickness was noticeably more comfortable on my bony ankles and back—so that definitely felt like an upgrade too. The general feel of the mat during my practice was warm, comforting, and supportive. It has a slight give, but it is still firm enough for me to feel very stable in all my poses. I personally enjoyed the warmth of the texture, but I can imagine it might not be the right mat for someone who runs hot, and sweats a lot. I did not have any problem with the grip, but I don’t usually. I would say my hands and feet definitely felt more secure on this mat in downward dog and plank poses than my old one. AND, I love the design. I specifically sought one out with a symmetrical design to help align my feet. I would take anything with a center line, but I appreciate the simplicity of the markings on this one especially. As for the color, I love the peaceful and grounding dark blue that I got, but I did notice that you could see dry skin flakes on it after a practice... so, if this would bother you, just go for a light color one!

Initial impression of this yoga mat was that it is a sturdy, durable material. I have used it now for a couple of different styles of yoga classes (mostly restorative and power yoga) and I really do love it. The line design is unique (at least I had never seen it before) and helpful for both beginners or seasoned veterans. The thickness is perfect and provides just the right amount of cushion. All of my practices have been done with the yoga mat on a hardwood floor and my knees are not screaming in pain. The mat is just very aesthetically pleasing too. I know that might sound silly to some, but it is nice to have a mat that is both pretty to look at and is highly functional and of good quality. My only complaint is that during down-dog and power yoga classes the mat can get a bit slippery. It is not enough to deter me from using this mat though and I would still highly recommend it. Most likely, I will just have to purchase a yoga towel to help with this. Overall, this is a high quality mat at a very reasonable price.

Nice yoga mat. Although it's not very thick it does feel comfortable to stand on. I also purchased a knee pad separately for the pain in my wrists when I do certain poses. I didn't want a yoga mat that was too thick because it would interfere with my balance with standing poses, so this one seems like a great option. The strap works very well and is able to loosen and tighten easily. There was no smell or residue when I unrolled the yoga mat. Love the color and the feet/hand placement cues on the mat. I would definitely recommend this product. I haven't used it enough to comment on durability, but the material seems to be higher quality than past mats I have used.

I love this mat so much! I use it for mat pilates. My old mat was a foam type of material that would stretch out making my hands and feet gradually end up farther away. I read so many reviews to pick a mat, and I love this one. It's very lightweight, so it would be great for travel. The alignment marks are very helpful so that in any position you can use them as a reference for symmetry. Even though it looks thin, it's very padded so my spine never hurts when I do roll downs or anything. It doesn't have any stretch to it so my positions aren't hard to hold. It has no smell which is something a lot of reviews for other mats mention. It's grippy. I'm very happy with it especially for the price. I wish it came in more colors!

Very good mat for the price. The foam mat is thin, but dense: it’s comfortable to use, but rolls up nice and thin. I find myself really enjoying having the alignment markings. I’ve had no problem with it slipping on any surface. I’ve had this for a month or so and use is several times a week. I use it for outdoor yoga at times, and I wipe it down after, so that grit does not scratch it. I keep it rolled up and out of the way when not in use. I baby it a bit, as I suspect it’s not the most durable mat, but so far, it’s held up well and there are no scuffs or tears to the foam. Very pleased. Update - Ive had this mat for 5 years now, and it has some gouges and dings, but has really held up. I'm inconsistent with yoga and pilates, but use the mat a few times a month on average. Still going strong!

Okay, off the bat let me give a disclaimer: I am new to yoga; I've only been doing this for like two months. That being said, this is the first yoga mat I've owned, and it is a HUGE improvement to just using the floor, like I had been doing. As far as quality goes, I have been super impressed so far. I am much more comfortable doing yoga now than I was before. The mat has a good amount of grip without being overly so and making movement difficult. For my fellow scent-sensitive friends, this mat has virtually no scent unless your nose is right up against it, and even then it is just a minimal rubbery smell. Thickness wise, it is exactly as I expected: Cushion-y and supportive without being too much. If you need extra padding for your joints this may not be the mat for you. The lines on the mat have been very helpful in keeping my alignment as well. The one downside that I will state is that the mat is not as wide as I expected. I am unsure how wide mats usually are but this is something I would definitely keep in mind!

I love this yoga mat. I previously had a yoga mat from Five Below. Yes, $5. It served me well while I was beginning my yoga journey. This mat, however is worth every penny. The lines really helped improve my posture and they are quite intuitive if you’ve been doing yoga for any length of time. The mat is a perfect thickness. I’ve had another mat with greater thickness but it was squishy and made me off balance. This mat was so easy on my joints and with the solid thickness and the awesome grip of the mat, my balance was better as well. Overall, this mat gave me a much better yoga workout and less risk for injury. Selected 5 stars for durability as instructions were sent via email to help increase the longevity of the mat. I’ve not had it long enough otherwise. Easy to clean because you spray it down with a very diluted vinegar solution every 3-6 months.

I love this mat, it's thick enough to protect my knees but it doesn't make balancing hard. The non slip surface really works, some mats say they are non slip but when it comes to using them, your hands and feet just can't grip - this one gives you just the right amount of support. The alignment markings are so clear and I found I was using them far more than I expected to. The colour is lovely and it comes with a neat little carry sling too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable and really well made mat, it feels and looks as if it will last a long time.

Colchoneta ligera que se adhiere bien al suelo y no se mueve, pero las manos resbalan un poco, por lo que a la práctica molesta un poco tener que estar pendiente de las manos. Un poco decepcionada por el precio que tiene.
