Sennheiser E 845 S Super-Cardioid Dynamic Microphone with Noiseless and Lockable On/Off Switch

For the price one of the best on the market. Sounds far superior to the SM58 and it's super cardioid. This is now my favorite mic.

The performance of this microphone seems better than a Shure SM58 Beta with crisper clarity. I guess microphones tend to be a 'personal taste' item but at this price this is a great piece of kit.

This is a very good mike,it has lots of crisp, clear top end, and rich, smooth bottom end frequencies.it also comes without the switchable on /off.

I've been an SM58 user for many years, but I decided to update and try something different. I looked at the 945 but decided to try the cheaper 845 first to test the product. Very satisfied with the results. The Sennheiser has significantly more range, power and depth. In a very loud rehearsal room the Shure was up against it, but the Sennheiser can be mixed a lot lower and yet still cut through the sound. On stage in both a rock band and unplugged setting the Sennheiser delivers crisp vocals with depth and resonance. I have so much more scope with it. No need to have the thing virtually in your mouth. I can modulate vocal delivery confident the Sennheiser will pick anything up. I may well invest in the 945 now and have the 845 as back up. Didn't expect to be so impressed.

mi favorito desde que lo probé. Siempre he sido fiel a shure hasta que me recomendaron probar este micro. La calidez que le da a la voz pero a la vez hace destacar los graves, cuando te alejas del micro cantando no corta el sonido. De lo mejor que he probado por un precio más que razonable.
