The author has done a great job of explaining each process of the recipe with colourful graphics. This book is for anyone who has an interest in korean cuisine and collecting books.

Amazing cookbook for the beginners.

This is one cook book that you will enjoy perusing,not just for the recipes but also for the graphics. The book is geared towards the American readers,so all ingredients obviously, will not be easily available here.But having said that, I have to admit that I made the Kimchi pancake recipe this morning,following the recipe,more or less ,and it was really simple and really, really good!

A fun and funky approach to a cook book. Thoroughly enjoying the art work and the book on the whole.

I originally got this for my graphic novel loving young daughter to equally help her widen her knowledge of food, yet it’s so good it’s taken pride of place amongst my own Korean cookbooks!! I use and further adapt some of the banchan recipes for our own weekly preparations and the main dishes all have been a delight and well received. The format is playful and achievable for beginners to the cuisine especially in places where some ingredients may be hard to source even online unless you live near a Korean/ inclusive asian supermarket. The creator tells of her own food journey and falling back in love with her own food, each recipe is taught to us by a friendly hanbok wearing character with a focus on encouraging a love, appreciation and engagement with the food and cultural aspects with asides on how and when this may be eaten or how this version differs from traditional ingredients. Well worth the price several times over.

Super fun and lovely cookbook! Every page is lovely! Lots of recipe with full comic representations. Very interesting and if cartoon character can cook, so can I! Take all the stress off with such a fun style, comic cookbook. I love this book! Total recommendation if you like a really cheerful and easy to follow cookbook!

I gave this to my godson as a Christmas present. My godson is a total foodie and absolutely loved this book. It's a great combination of recipes and a comic book, very entertaining. It also stoked his interest in learning other cuisines. The recipes are pretty easy to follow and come out delicious. Definitely a great gift!
