Eureka Forbes has been around in my family since ages and is a very famous brand especially in the segment of vacuum cleaners. My grandparents had in in the late 80s and later my family bought it in the 90s. However, those were really big , durable models since the houses were big and the furnitures around were expensive and in plenty. I purchased this model specifically for one and one purpose only! To vaccum suck my Dog's fur from the bed because my dog often sleeps on my bed. There are plenty of negative reviews about this product that it heats up too quick and blah blah but people need to understand that this model is only meant for specific cleaning purposes of shorter duration. If you want to do the whole house or if you have a large couch/lavish sofa, carpets, curtains etc then you must go for the ones between the range of 10K-15K because those are the models which are appropriate. This is for lazy people and dust allergic people like me who do not like to brush off their dog very frequently and let them climb on the bed. Or for singles who have a bed and a dust allergy in particular and like to vacuum instead of giving their mattress or bedsheet a shrug. Needless to say ,, it is common sense that you will not use this machine for longer duration not because it is inefficient but because it is not meant for that purpose. The negative reviews are fetching for this product because somewhere the application of the gadget and general awareness is lacking. I love the crimson red colour .It looks gorgeous. Back home we had two models in Beige and Grey. To my delight, I am the happiest when my gadgets and appliances are in various colors. It does make a lot of noise but i'm not upset or complaining. The suction is good and it fits my purpose. This is one of the brands that has lived up to its quality! Thank you Amazon for housing such awesome products.

Dry vacuuming is fine for light work ,no wet vacuuming is possible, it generates lot of heat and gets heated very soon. Packaging not good simply kept in a thin cardboard box. One rear eye to fasten belt was Brocken earlier to packaging as no Brocken peace of eye found in the box . I did not return to avoid many other phases of trouble than managing with one eye which the dealer predict while supplying online that who will return for silly reason. I hope shoulder not happen with customers frequently. Thanks

It's too low powered to be useful in India. It's useless. The suction sucks.

This vacuum is strong but powerful. We've been using this for more than 5 years now. It's really portable and has all the attachments you need for all types of cleaning. It does heat up if used for a long time but that is understandable as the vacuum was not built for heavy cleaning. It's a great vacuum in this price range. It needed some wire maintenance as the wires started to bend and break. The wires are positioned at the bottom of the vacuum which is not the best in terms of design because when you place the vacuum on the floor or any surface the wires bend leading to breakage in the long run. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and the vacuum has been my money's worth :)

Value for money

This is a very powerful cleaner.The pressure is so high that the dirt gets cleaned very easily even in the corners or edges of the house or walls. Though the machine gets heated a little quickly but this is very normal for such high suction pressure. The quality of the product is very nice and there are packed different tubes or vents inside... for cleaning different areas or materials . Can be carried very easily ! Long length power cable to reach every corner of the house.

This is the first time I'm using a vacuum cleaner. After a lot of research done on-line, I decided to give this one a try. I thought, even if it's not aptable enough for cleaning the home, still it'd be useful to clean cars. Well, the guess seems to be true. After cleaning continuously for about 20 min, the motor gets heated and it automatically gets off (which is a good feature) and I've to wait for another 1 hour to have the motor on (aargh). Go for it, only if you can hold onto patience while cleaning. Pros: 1. Handy and doesn't weigh too much. 2. Flexible hose 3. Upholstery cleaning brush is more comfortable for cleaning seatings 4. Crevice nozzle is suitable for cleaning sills and interior of cars, as it reached nooks and corners. 5. Lengthy cord 6. More options of brushes are available to choose appropriately Cons: 1. Time consuming 2. Gets heated quickly 3. Floor brush is worse. The mouth of the connection tube is not tight/firm, which makes the cleaning really difficult.
