A beautiful story, with lovely illustrations and rhyme scheme of story telling...just strikes the right chords with kids to make them fall in love with the whole package...go ahead and buy for your little ones not only for the fun of a great story and imagery but also for learning style, schemes and enhancing vocabulary in English literature from an early age.

Loved the book! My two year olds favourite read. She is excited everytime I open the book. A sweet story about how friends can be a safety net in life or as here (spoiler) save you from Dragons. Very interactive read, love the wordings and the chance to talk in a dragon voice or a witches cackling one. Entertaining for LOs

I just randomly chanced across this book on Amazon and thought it would be wonderful for my 11-month-old. At first I thought she was probably a little too young for teh book but it still works--she loves looking at the images, and about 90% of the time will sit through a reading of the entire book! Childrens' books are as much for parents as they are for babies. I was rather bored of her old picutre and board books. This one has a cpativating story, adorable pictures, a catchy meter. It works right now for my baby and I know she will be re-reading it for years to come and taking away more meaning and enjoyment from the book each time she does. I also got gifted "The Gruffalo's Child" and it's just as lovely too! I plan to buy the Gruffalo to complete my collection.

The books by Julia are a treasure. One after another. This is our 3rd or 4th of her's and my daughter can't get over the current one, everytime till we get her a new one. As an adult it is a pleasure to read these too and you can count on them to make you relax and sleep too. :-) There is always a learning from these seemingly funny and clever stories, but it is not in your face and open to interpretation. Brilliant!

Decent product, pictures and story match, hard pages perfect to little ones too

As a professional storyteller and a mom I highly recommend anythingbthat has the 'Julia Donaldson' stamp on it. No other writer is able to give our children such a compassionate, sensitive, appropriate scenario rid of any biases as Julia Donaldson. Her almost poetic style accompanied by the apt illustrations make her books irresistible to both kids and adults. Room on the broom is one such book, it is light but has subtle messages breaking stereotypes and helping children learn team- spirit. It has so much scope for drama and emoting that it easily lends itself to be dramatised by older children just as all of Julia Donaldson books. Enjoy!

From the writers of The Gruffalo & The Gruffalo's Child, this book is yet another gem that any young book lover would love. The story is really nice and written in lines that are very catchy that my 2-year-old little one has it memorized the whole thing already. It is a little long, but not boring at all. The pages are of amazing quality and the illustrations and colours just make you fall in love with the book at first sight. A must buy! :)

Just buy it... Julia Donaldson... the name is enough. - The book is sturdy with a total 24 pages; mine is a BOARD BOOK. - The pictures are clear, crisp, apt in size, and colourful. - The English used is easy to read and understand and rhymes excellently for toddlers and early learners. - 100% value for money! - If you check my video, the book is very handy and perfect in size (neither too big nor too small) for children. I am surely buying all the Julia Donaldson books for my daughter who is 19 months old. I is all worth the price and the investment that you make on this author and her books. Wonderful!!

Mis hijos han visto la película en Amazon Prime y me gusta el mensaje así que compré el cuento. Es un cuento grande, con muy buenas ilustraciones. Me gusta mucho el mensaje del cuento: una bruja viaja en su escoba con su gato, pierde su sombrero y baja a buscarlo, un perro lo encuentra y se lo entrega y le pide viajar con ella. El gato no se ve muy feliz pero la bruja de dice, que claro que si. Pasa lo mismo y sube a una rana y después a un pájaro. El gato por otro lado, se opone las siguientes veces porque van muy apretados. Nuevamente emprenden el vuelo, la escoba se rompe por el peso y se encuentran con un dragón. El dragón persigue a la bruja, los demás animales cayeron en un pantano. Por fin, el dragón alcanza a la bruja cuando sale un "monstruo" del pantano que le dice que deje a la bruja. El dragón se va asustado, y el "monstruo" resulta ser todos los animales que la bruja rescató cubiertos de lodo. La bruja les agradece que la hayan salvado (obviamente si les hubiera dicho que no, el gato solo no la hubiera podido rescatar). La bruja hace una nueva escoba, más grande con asientos especiales para todos y emprenden nuevamente el vuelo. Mis hijos (2 y 4) lo disfrutan enormemente y me lo piden con regularidad.

J'adoRe cenlivre, il se lkt bien les rimes et le rhytme sont super! Il y a une jolie repetition ce qui permet a l enfant de bien suivre. Mon bebe aprecie ce livre depuis ces 19 mois et il me le demande tous les soirs, il a maintenant 22 mois et oui... je le connais par coeur. Meme pour les plus grands il est top et je pense que ca sera un bon livre pour apprendre a lire aussi.

O livro é bem legal, adorável! A entrega foi péssima. O livro (apenas este livro) veio numa caixa enorme, muito maior que o tamanho do livro e sem nenhum tipo de proteção... Resultado: cantos da capa e de algumas páginas amassados... Um pouco mais de carinho na embalagem dos produtos seria bom...

Very cute story, perfect book for Halloween
