The Red Letter Alphabet Book

This is a wonderful Montessori recommended book for learning first sounds and allows children to practice on their own. The images and sensory element makes it stick in their memory more easily than other books we’ve tried.

Best purchase ever. My 2.5 year old reads this to herself every morning. Perfect & straight-forward way to learn letter sounds. The tactile aspect of Montessori learning is benefiting her development. Love this and blue number book. Highly recommended!

My daughter’s Montessori school has a copy of this book in the classroom. It’s one of my daughter’s favorite books in school so I bought a copy for home use too. The letters in the book include some with texture so they can trace the shape in a similar manner like tracing sandpaper letters. Good book. Recommend it to anyone wanting to supplement reading instruction at home in a Montessori inspired way

Perfect size. Very clear for my little one to see and learn the Montessori phonics.

My 2 year olds still loves this. Touching the letters and looking at the pictures. I like that it highlights the letter in places other than the beginning.

I have a child trace the soft felt letters with their finger. To teach them how, first I trace the letter with their finger resting on mine...which helps develop muscle memory..say the sound while tracing "a" is for apple! (or whatever the picture/letter is). After they have traced it with their finger resting on yours, suggest, "your turn!" Lots of fun ...keep it happy and brief...and they learn!

My 18 month old is OBSESSED with this book. She brings it to us for us to read to her somewhere between five and fifteen times a day. If I try to read her a different book instead, she’ll get frustrated and push this one back in my lap. She has a bunch of other books and this is easily the one she chooses to spend the most time with.

I just received this book today and upon opening it to read to my toddler, the pages were wrinkly and dirty. Crumbs were on the pages. I’m thinking this was someone else’s before it’s mine. However I like the book and my toddler is very interested in it
