2 year old daughter
Watch out Nick Jr. PBS Kids may have some shows that can really educate your child. Because of this show my daughter knows some sights words. She actually learned the phonics of the the alphabet with this show. She would see some letters and tell me, "Mama, letter B... ba ba B" I nearly fell to the floor when I heard her say that for the first time. At the time was about 4 months shy of 2. If my daughter loves it. Then I love it.

We love Word World
My 4 year old has been asking for Word World ever since KPBS stopped showing it. So I ordered online. Not only are they learning about letters and spelling, my son is also learning about friendships and caring. Its a great start to learning to read.

The kids love it. I don't like if people make too much fuss about teaching young children their letters. Honestly, I think there is too much pressure on kindergarten/ elementary kids and their teachers (I'm fed up with testing and my son is only in 1st grade). However, this series does teach children in a playful way. It's all about having fun with it and enjoying it and this is definitely better than lots of the other stuff playing on tv.

Taught my nephew how to read and write!
After giving this as a gift to my 2 year old nephew, the kid started learning how to actually spell, read, and write. It was like a Christmas miracle. Almost one year exactly has passed, and he is 3 now, and he looks so adorable heading to his 5 grade class with a the other big kids. The teacher even let's him grade homework sometimes; it's great.

Wonderful Word World!
Word World is a great program that offers a lot for children in regards to learning how to spell words. The songs are catchy and fun. The characters are wonderful. And some valuable life-lessons are taught, too!

Word world is an amazing thing. My 2.5 year old can recognize all the letters, numbers and has started to spell 3 letter words thanks to Word World. I would recommend it to anyone with toddlers!
