My router is approximately 7m from my PC. However it's in a garden cabin outside the house.The signal varies from 70mps down to 0.02mps.The extender was installed approximately mid way between the router and PC. Installation proved tedious with poor instructions.Once set up, my PC would not find the extender SSID, however, my phone did, but speed tests showed that the speed had actually dropped by around 50% when compared to that direct from the router.The extender totally failed to boost the signal.Added to that, the product appears quite poor quality. Very lightweight, thin plastic, and poor instructions.

Made no difference to my wifi so it was a waste of money really

My wifi was slow so I’ve been trying everything to see if I can speed it up.Bought this piece of junk and it made my wifi even slower.I went from a brutal 9mbps to a disgusting 5mbps, I mean is that not the opposite of what it’s meant to do?Avoid like the plague, folks, all this is, is a fancy plug with lights.Better offing calling your provider to sort any issues out.This junk gets “minus 100” out of 10

Bought this and it’s terrible, flimsy plastic & makes no difference at all. Be careful of the 4.9 out of 5 review because if you go down the reviews and read them, the first few relate to this but the rest to other products. Very misleading. Amazon have been shown the evidence & thankfully refunded.

I got faster speed via the router than through this extender.
