EXCELLENT & MUST READ BOOK ON THE G-SPOT AND FEMALE EJACULATION!
This is the first book to provide clinical proof of the existence and location of the Gräfenberg Spot, popularly known as the G-Spot. Since this book’s publication in 1982, other researchers have confirmed that some women do release fluid that is different from urine during sexual activity when the G-Spot is stimulated.I was first introduced to this erogenous zone in the classic R&B hit record, “G-Spot” by British-Caribbean soul singer, Wayne Marshall, in the 1990s. Since then, there have been many articles and books published about this mysterious erogenous zone but many people are still unaware of its origin or where it is actually located. According to the researchers, the G-spot is located in the front (anterior) wall of the vagina. It varies in size but can be stimulated by applying the “come here” motion with the fingers. The researchers came across a 1950 article written by Dr. Ernst Gräfenberg on the role of the urethra for the female orgasm where he mentioned an erogenous area which causes an expulsion from the urethra when stimulated. The American researchers went on to name this area, “the Gräfenberg spot.” The expulsion which expelled from the urethra was called female ejaculation – a fluid which differs from urine. Female ejaculate is a teaspoon full of fluid that is sweet in taste and similar to watered down fat-free milk. The authors found that female ejaculate is chemically different to urine as it does not contain high levels of urea and creatinine which is commonly found in urine specimens. The researchers published their findings in 1981 in the Journal of Sex Research in an article called “Female Ejaculation: A Case Study.” Soon thereafter, Whipple, Perry and Ladas published their ground-breaking book, The G-Spot in 1982. The book changed the world’s attitudes towards female sexuality. The international bestseller has sold more than a million copies, has been translated into 22 languages, and remains a key source of information about this often-misunderstood female erogenous zone and the female ejaculate phenomena. Drawing upon the testimonies of countless women, the researchers explore what brings a woman pleasure? What excites a woman in the bedroom? Whether the G-Spot really exist? How to find the G-spot? How women experience female ejaculate? How can women experience different types of orgasm? The book challenges some of the myths and findings of pioneers in the field of human sexuality, such as Sigmund Freud, Alfred Kinsey, the team of Masters & Johnson, and Shere Hite. The book focuses on validating the sensual and sexual experiences reported by women. The researchers documented the testimonies of women’s pleasurable experiences with the aim of validating them without relying on “science” to validate female sexual responses. The authors took a strong stance on accepting female sexual testimonies – something which was rare at the time. The major contributions of the book were to validate women’s experiences of female ejaculation and to provide clinical proof of the existence of the G-Spot. The researchers intentionally use the terms “experience orgasm” rather than “achieve” or “reach” orgasm, so women would not feel that sexual climax is the goal of sex. They encourage women to focus on the orgasmic process not the goal of orgasm. In the Western medical community, female sexuality is often shrouded in controversy. Prior to the release of this book, female ejaculation was assumed to be urinary incontinence (uncontrollable pee) during sex. The book does point out that this is a modern western cultural phenomenon, as there are many pre-modern cultures which affirmed female ejaculate. For example, Aristotle wrote about female ejaculation in ancient Greece, and female ejaculate is an expected state of affairs in some east African cultures with the kunyaza tradition. The same could be said about the G-Spot. Some non-western cultures spoke about this female erogenous zone long before it was “discovered” by a German doctor in the 1950s and named by American researchers in the 1980s. Dr. Gräfenberg wasn’t the first person to actually “discover” the G-Spot as evident from the testimony of a female interviewer from Panama who informed the authors, “We are quite conscious of the ‘Gräfenberg Spot.’ It is called here La Bella Loca. I knew of it from when I was about fifteen years old. I am now sixty-five years old. We are a nation of sex-loving people.” On another occasion, the researchers spoke to a Muslim man from Iran who reported that in his culture “men are taught how to please their mates through stimulation of a special place.” He clarified that the special place was not the clitoris but “something inside a woman, and she enjoys it more when she is on top.” The man’s wife confirmed saying “he is absolutely right.” Such testimonies demonstrate that in some non-western cultures, female sexual pleasure orgasm was normalised, validated and acknowledged. In such cultures, many women orgasm during intercourse and others experience the joys of female ejaculate from vaginal stimulation. Unfortunately, the G-Spot like many parts of the female genitalia, is named after a white European male doctor; Skene’s glands (Alexander Skene), Bartolin’s Glands (Caspar Bartholin), the Graffian Follice (Regnier de Graaf), Pouch of Douglas (James Douglas), Glands of Montgomery (William Montgomery), Hydati of Morgani (Giovanni Battista). Why parts of the female genitalia are named after dead white male anatomists really baffles me. It is something very peculiar in the Western world. White men are all over women’s bodies. And any woman who wants to strengthen her pelvic muscles is encouraged to do Kegel exercises, a procedure named after Arnold Kegel, another white man!Back to the book at hand, THE G-SPOT is divided into 6 chapters covering “the Gräfenberg spot,” female ejaculation, healthy pelvic muscles, and the human orgasm. Whilst the authors present various testimonies by women on their experiences with the G-Spot and female ejaculation, they stress that their G-Spot or female ejaculation findings should not be the goal for every woman during sex. “Sexual activity should be a pleasurable experience and not a performance requiring some specified outcome,” writes the co-authors. The book’s final chapter, “The Best Is The Enemy of the Good” emphasises the importance of sexual pleasure rather than goal-orientated sex. Women are multi-orgasmic with many ways to experience sexual pleasure with a partner. There is not one model of female sexual response, there are many sexual responses for women. Similarly, there is not one “best” route to climax or pleasure. Every woman is different and should not chase “perfect” sex, nor should they compare their sexual experiences to another woman if it is making them distressed. As Theodore Roosevelt famously said, “comparison is the thief of joy.” The information presented in this book can be used to help women and men lead more pleasurable and satisfying lives and avoid a good deal of unnecessary suffering and frustration. The G-SPOT is a highly recommended read for any woman interested in female ejaculation and sexual satisfaction, and any man interested in pleasing a woman’s G-Spot.

Too long in the coming...
How is it that it took so long for the G-Spot to be scientifically identified? Perhaps because there's no money in it for the man? But wait, perhaps the man is realizing that his well being depends upon the well being of his woman counterpart, and there is multiple rewards involved in living a more satisfying life. This book is a very straight forward read, informative, insightful, and definitely worth your time. Man or woman, everyone should know more about the human body... and the SIMILARITIES between the two sexes are a lesson in themselves. The G-Spot is the equivalent of the male prostate, and along with deep vascular congestion, the nature of the clitoris, and even female ejaculation, the similarities are truly astounding, yet for some reason, this information resonates as confirmation rather than shock. We love to talk about male and female differences, men are from Mars and women are from Venus, but true woman's liberation should be talking about how we are the same... polar variations of the human being, from Earth, no ribs involved. This book was a long time coming, but the information was well worth the wait.

'G Spot' is a evolutionary book
I love this sexpose of healthy insides of woman, similar to 'Vagina Monologs', but more biology than social taboos exposed in tragic comedy. G spot is more inner physiology,& anatomy, that most women never see or rarely feel in private. 'G spot' is a revelation, sorta like Kagels are spiritual health exercise for women's organs. I heard of G-spot 2 decades ago on Donohue TV show, about gushing orgasms, very funny. 'G spot' is more serious A&P for women's awareness, health & orgasmic sexing!

Hurray for the G spot!
I ordered book "The G Spot: And Other Discoveries about Human Sexuality" the same day that I found it. These three authors have shined the guiding light on the mysterious female ejaculation.Cosmopolitan men are more appreciative of the value G spot simulation. An older woman introduced me to this erotic phenomenon and I have been thankful ever since. Some of my friends doubt that a man's prostate functions similarly to a women's G spot. I plan to recommend the book to them.I will tell them, "There's more to cum".
