I have used it only once so far, but it seems quite adequate for my purposes. I expected it to be a little larger, but it is sufficient for me. My main concern was whether I shall be able to clamp it onto my workbench which is just short of 1 inch in thickness on the side. This vice fitted there, although barely so, without any problem and its grip on the workbench seemed strong enough for light to medium work. The jaws opening is sufficient for any workpiece that is less than 1.5 inch thick (to be safe, no thicker than 1 inch) for a firm enough grip by the vice. The vice jaw will open a little bit further, but I wouldn't recommend it for use at that extremely wide open position, particularly because there seems to be no stop latch on the furthest end of the sliding rail. The jaw lips themselves are about 2.75 inches long and should be more than enough to hold a medium-sized workpiece. In my limited experience as a Do-It-Yourself'er if you need a vice with longer pair of lips and/or jaw opening that is >>1.5 inch, you better get a heavy vice that can be bolted onto your workbench. Any heavier/larger vice clamped onto the side of your workbench would make it a very unsafe combo. Whether you can find any larger and heavier clamp-on vice is another matter.

Fully rusted some old used product. A total waste item. It's as if people after using for years are ready to throw and then they sold it to us. Really bad product

Quality okay.. But sizes are mostly wrong. Can't set it 1 in (2.54 cm) thick table, 2 cm max. Jaw length is 75 mm... that doesn't increase any pride. And clamp up to 3 cm or 1 in would be perfect... But for my work purpose it's useful...

When I get this, I was a little disappointed that it was small. But for what I payed it did seem pretty good. It came is handy a lot of times. If you never had a vice before, I would strongly recommend getting one. It's cast iron and the painting isn't the best( it's little flaked off) but it doesn't hinder it's performance. I will definitely buy a bigger one when the time comes, for now I'm happy with this.

Rusted machanism and Dent on body, paint removed from some edges and body parts. And I don't know why it comes in flipkart package. Don't buy please check before use.
