AmazonBasics Foot Rest - Black

Writing this review after using the product for few days. These are my observations & feedback:+ the build quality is robust. It's stable, extra wide, and sturdy.+ looks are premium and decent.+ it is just right to do the job, when you adjust the chair height correctly, there is little stress you get on you back side of thigh. This stand comes to a rescue and gives you the missing comfort. After using it, my posture has improved and I feel my back less stressed after long sittings.+ i liked the Free-floating platform, which can tilt back and forth for leg stretches+ the textured surface acts as an acupressure board, gives massaging effect.+ the price initially looked high to me (I got this for INR 1399), but when I compared it with other options available (most of which are imported) found it the cheapest!- you can't adjust the height, but adding those features will make it costlier.Tip: based on my various experiments and readings, the perfect height for chair is - if you stand near it, your lower knee cap should touch the top level of the seat.Overall, a highly recommended product for anyone who spends long time using computer or any other desk job.Pictures posted for reference. This foot rest by AmazonBasics is a pretty clever product. I sit at a desk that has nothing but metal rods to rest my feet on; initially it isn’t bad, but after a while the rod starts digging into the soles of my feet which is why I ordered this foot rest. It does offer a decent relief and the raised pattern feels soothing. The frame is made of metal but the surface of the foot rest is hard plastic, which doesnt feel like it will break easily. The raised pattern, where the feet naturally rest is made of rubber. Overall, I am confident that this footrest is going to stand the test of time. One problem I faced with it, was that the surface area was smallish for me, I would prefer larger size option. Also, the swivel hinge is easily moved, so basically there is no way you can fix the angle of the foot rest, even if you try to tighten the screws.

I find it useful, having used it for few weeks now. Before writing this review I tried removing it to see how it feels sitting on the chair without it, but then I had to put it back immediately. Basically it supports the foot/leg weight thereby relieving pressure which would transfer to thighs or lower back. And it allows to recline a bit on chair comfortably. My chair has rather deep seat depth but feels a bit constraining at lower back area, and it doesn't have a recline setting which can be locked. Having this footrest makes it ok.I can't keep both feet on it though comfortably, I am 5'11" and it's not that wide - 15" only. So I keep one foot on it and the other on floor, and keep alternating the foot every half hour or so after moving the footrest below left or right foot. It might work for some folks.

height cant be adjusted so usefull only if ur seat height is less than 20 inches from the floor. else will be too high and ur legs wont reach the footrest comfortably.you cant lock it keeps moving up and down. u can tighten it with the screw but that becomes loose again in few days.the top is made of rubber so bare feet will feel the heat due to friction, suitable if u wear footwear and use this, without footwear it will not be comfy. rest everything is sturdy and strong

The footrest has multiple advantages. Let me list them down one by one:1. Robust build quality. Sturdy and well built.2. The area where feet are placed is covered in anti-slip mat and has little grains on it that give your tired feet a gentle massage.3. The angle of the surface can be changed depending upon where you put pressure on the surface. This proctects the feet from static fatigue.4. Though the angle can be changed merely by putting pressure, yet there in enough resistance for it to remain in the same angle of tilt if you dont desire it to move.5. The stand has rubber shoes that prevent it from sliding around.6. It comes in black color that compliments any interior color. Minimal design that blends into any type of decor.My feet are thanking me for this gift to them. You also go for it.

This is a sturdy and well made footrest. There is just enough friction to hold the footrest at any desired angle. The texture on the rubber mat is great and gives a great massage when used barefoot. There are problems tough, it's really tiny, it could have been slightly wider so that one can move one's foot to relax better. Though the build quality is good, the mat is not located in the center of the metal support plate on the footrest delivered to me.As another reviewer commented, it appeared expensive compared to other available alternatives, but then, it's smaller than those alternatives as well.

The best footrest tool. It is so perfect, let me try to explain the features in brief.1. The surface had two dotted area to rest the foot and in middle, there is a line area where you can scratch foot to feel good!!2. As you put slight pressure it slides up and down, it helps you to give the perfect position to foot.3. The quality of the product is perfect, very very durable.4. It does not make any noise if you put extra pressure on it, it just smoothly will slide up and down.If you are sitting on a desk and searching for the reliable partner for the foot, go fo it.

Got this in lightning deal of Rs 999/- and it was delivered on the same day. Thanks to Amazon for that. About the foot rest, well it is sturdy made out of good plastic and it does the job well. One has to keep in mind that it gives some 6 inches ht from the ground. The idea of having bubbles on top surface is good, it gives good message and it feels nice when you are bare footed.
